No, you are not!! We have undergone "femininity training," which teaches us that we are responsible for managing other people's emotions. We are rewarded for being empathetic, caring, and socially sensitive. Whether our romantic relationships thrive or fade away is seen as the woman's fault. It doesn't have to be this way. But to make any progress, we have to be willing to examine where gender stereotypes are keeping us from being fully human. And men have yet to fully commit to this kind of work... although I have hope thanks to amazing thought leaders like Lewis Howes.
