  • Which truck would you choose and why? To me it seems like the 2500HD is the better buy.

Ram shows way more info in their cluster and more configurable. I like both Ram and GM, just stating the facts.

You were out in my neck of the woods… I checked out a ZR2 at that dealer as well recently 😁

Clearly, the 1500 has a better glove box! Haha. Loving this series. Thanks!

Great! I love how this huge truck on 35 inch chunky tires has better mpg than my 4Runner on 33s 😂. Love this truck

1500 6.2 is premium fuel where the 2500 is tuned for regular gas. I would go 6.6 gas all day especially the price

One of the main things this video shows is that half-tons have become the red-headed middle step child of the truck world. HD trucks are close on fuel economy, ride quality, and price, but have way more capability. Mid-size trucks have capability relatively close to half-tons and are easier to maneuver, drive and ride nicer, and are much cheaper.
They made half-tons a jack of all trades, master of none, and way overpriced for what you're getting.

I completely agree. I think the only way a half ton makes sense is with the most fuel efficient engine option otherwise jump up to a 2500/3500 or down to a smaller truck.

What you save in fuel economy with a half ton you’ll pay out in repairs when AFM lifters fail and you have to replace your motor.

Spot on. Just traded in my wife's and mine 1500's for a Colorado and a 2500HD ZR2.

@@trace6402Hey how are you liking the zr2. I’m between the zr2 and HC. Main thing is people are saying that zr2 is more for off-road driving than the HC. I will not be doing any off roading. But, what are your thoughts since you have the zr2? I love the look of the zr2.

@@CesarMartinez-er3vo they are so rare in my region that I had to order it. Probably won't get it until August. I watched a lot of videos on the ZR2 before I decided and many claimed the Mulimatic shocks with the sensitivity dampers on the ZR2 and AT4X ride as good as the HC and Denali. Wish I could verify that but haven't received it yet.

Do either of these trucks have an option to drive in the right hand?😮😂😮
