i had a psmart 2019 which i loved after i got used to it. i upgraded to a psmart 2021 without realising i have to jump through hoops to get anything google onto it, the US gov has every right to be concerned about spying, but really, if you're letting the phone go to market banning huawei from using google seems a bit dumb. anyway, i'm getting used to my new phones foibles and i'm happ enough to keep it for a couple of years. it's clumsy to install google stuff, but it does do it.

I love to see competition in the OS and smartphone spaces. But the thing I worry about with Huawei is yk pulling a TikTok or DJI level spook.

Tip for HUAWEI: follow Apple example. Instead of tens of models just get 3-4 models with top of the line hardware, and give Harmony OS like 5 years worth of support. That will draw some attention.
I think that any and every company should follow that. If Samsung dropped less than 10 models in a year then they would have far less problems to think of.

I hope you do an update video regarding Huawei soon. A lot of things happened and I think we need an update on Huaweiâs journey the past 2 yrs.
My main gripe is that this moves back to proprietary which is a bad move especially since my experience with the P40lie. So many apps wants to updaate via the play store that this causes some functionality and interface issues. Also I have no option to backup whatsapp on anything but the Huawei cloud, which is filled up quickly and for whatever reason I expand por change to something else. Ive lost a lot of chats trying to navigate tthis.

@@ericdeniz5413 I am from se asia too and many people was using Huawei before the google ban. Even after the google ban, people are still buying them because of the excellent cameras. In China it has the highest market share of the smartphone market, so stop with the fake news. China market alone is enough to sustain it, so Harmony OS will survive. Everyone elsewhere shitting on Huawei now because Trump told you to that's all.
