    Mike Leigh is one of my all-time favorites. Meantime and Life is Sweet opened up a lot for me. Alan Clarke's films helped as well. I was raised in Baltimore, Maryland but somehow these films resonate with me a lot.

    Thank god for Mike Leigh, Alan Clarke and Ken Loach. The films they made for tv couldn't be surpassed.

    Love Meantime. The cast are wonderful in it but Tim Roth's Colin is a great character.
