- Cheating at Finger On The App isn't cool... but, you gotta admit, this is pretty cool. I was able to build this whole robot for a whopping $12, and if you want a cool first robot project, this is honestly a great one to try.

I’m just saying that I hope people don’t do this mr beast is holding a competition to test people’s endurance and who ever lasts the longest gets a prize cheating like this makes it so people that try their absolute hardest still won’t win because a robot can easily beat them please don’t do this again in the upcoming challenge

To be honest people who actually thought this would work are more or less brainless...from what I can tell this thing only moves in a repetitive manner and I dont see how it would reach spots that aren't in its path automatically.

Lol I made one of these using a 3D printer and python, made it use random numbers so it’s movements were never the same but it hit every spot on the screen. 3 mins before the start the printer just stopped wanting to listen to the commands from the code, and I didn’t get the problem solved until after it started. It’s a fun project either way, and I would really recommend it to anyone learning robotics

Louis Weisz if you ever get one, the artillery sidewinder x1 is amazing, it has a large area to print with and it’s only 450

Yeah because its based on the honor system so mrbeasts trivia and this challenge could have been cheated but with the trivia because content creators i don't think anyone will cheat but this is anyone in the world

I think you need something sturdier than popsicle sticks and added pressure from above towards the screen so that it reads more like a finger.

😂😂😂 you don’t actually need the computer once it’s been loaded on to the board, so technically you could get it set up with the code at a public library’s computer and then just bring it home to run it. You can power it with a little USB wall power adapter ($2)

Dude, thanks! A bunch of people used 3D printers early on, but I don't own a 3D printer, and reckoned it had to be possible to do it on a shoestring budget. Plus, sometimes simpler is better.

Maybe, but remember - this is iPhone only. It’s much harder to do than on android.
Plus, I have found that frequently the dumbest/simplest solution is the best one. Here, the imprecise movements might seem more human-like than a macro, which is important given that anticheat was being used

You did the WHOLE thing wrong
1. The app has some feature to detect continous same movements and disqualify you,( this was the reason why many people who were not cheating got disqualified cause it is buggy)
2.though this idea works it is stupid you cant use servos for too long better use steppers or a 3d printer cause it is made to run continuously for days
