Common sense is indeed not common. Me talking about the issue around being called a foreigner doesn't in anyway way indicate that I want to be South African. Neither does it mean I am saying I am not a foreigner. My #Gambia is the last country I will give up in this world and not anything can make me do so. I am proud of my nation. If you can't watch a video to comprehend what I meant.....then go and buy sense. I mostly don't reply to comments but there are people that really need schooling. Listen to comprehend and not jump into conclusions. I am talking about us embracing pan Africanism regards either of us being foreigners in any African country. If you don't understand this...then there is something wrong with you. Period!

Before colonizers ,Africa was divided by kingdom, borders are not new thing, if you're not South African and you're in south Africa then you are foreigner... If South African visit Gambia then that South African is foreigner in Gambia, you can't apply gambian laws in south Africa because South Africa is independent country... I hate this song call we are all Africans because different countries in Africa there ethnicity divisions. Example in Ethiopia oromos and tigrays dont see eye to eye, which means there is no we are all ethiopians and in nigeria the igbos want a country within a country called Biafra (for igbos only) which means there is no we are all nigerians). I think we are all Africans song is only sang in SA because it suit most foreigners. I think people must start to unite their countries first before uniting Africa and African African leadership must stop to use double standard against SA. Some of us we are first south africans before I become an African because most black South Africans ddnt choose the easy way out by running away from our country's problems. Poor, rich, educated and undecated black South Africans mobilize themselves to change the political spectrum of this country.

💯 % agree. It’s time South Africans awaken to this narrative that does not serve South Africans but serves the rest of other African nations at the expense of South Africans. I have no problem with other Africans coming to South Africa but we cannot host the entire Africa ( of course this is not literal) while we are still dealing with our own issues. The best thing is every African State’s citizenmust fight for their own countries and build their countries first and what I can agree with is holding each accountable for making your own country the best place for your citizens. PAN Africanism does not and will never work considering the vast differences we have in terms of ideology. South Africa is too liberal and most African nations are conservative that alone brings a disparate nature in how we see governance. It’s too complex and let’s rather focus on own Countries within Africa and that’s how we make Africa great.
