I know exactly who Civil Rhodes was and that's why this scholarship. So please do read more why the scholarship exists and changes that have been made.
Unbelievable what my brothers and sisters are prepared to forgive! I unsubscribed from her channel a few years ago simply because of her attitude. She thinks Cecil Rhodes was as great guy..smh.
Here in the UK there is a movement to remove the statue of Cecil Rhodes and everything connected with this criminal.
My guess is that the granting of scholarships to west Africans is a bit of a fight back...a charm offensive if you like. Does she know or even care that she's probably being used!
Bro the past is the past.Let us learn from history and take care so as not to have it repeated.He did what he did and there is consensus that it was wrong,but today out of the bog a tree grows and blooms,and animal,bird,and man can find rest under its shadow.I agree that it is important to remember it was a morass,but we shouldn't look back so long that we forget what we have today.Rather,let's appreciate the vision and work towards a greater tomorrow.I hope you can resonate with this.
