A few fun facts about Queen:
    * Guitarist Sir Brian May has a Ph.D. in Astrophysics and built his electric guitar (Red Special) when he was 17 (with his dad).
    * Bassist John Deacon has a degree in electronics. He designed and built the amp that Brian sometimes uses to create unique sounds on Red Special. John was also involved in the band’s financial management.
    * Drummer Roger Taylor has a degree in biology (pre-med). His vocal range is better than most lead singers of other groups.
    * Lead singer Freddie Mercury has a degree in graphic design. It goes without saying that his vocal range was amazing and he was the best front man of any band.
    * All four have written #1 hits, and all are members of the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

Freddie is mesmerizing. The other members you’ll find you appreciate as much as Freddie in time, because they’re all fabulous. But Freddie…voted the best frontman ever, the guest vocalist ever…Live Aid in 1985 you’ll find a lot of suggestions for it, a 22 minute set (do the whole thing..no one will be bored or upset) for raising funds for the famine in Africa at the time. They were the best live performers that day (all great bands and musicians at the time, but….) and it’s held as the best live performance ever, and Freddie had a throat thing going on, I’ve heard infection, laryngitis, but he sang flawlessly (against doctors orders) , stage presence…OMG. 72,000 people there, watched by half the worlds population at the time on TV…a sea of people adoring Queen and Freddie for the kind of performances he put into all their live concerts, and the rest of the band…what a mixture of great musicians and even singers, they could have been lead singers of other bands, they’re so good. But Freddie seemed not of this earth, he was so talented and smart and just music lived in him and needed out, till the day he died, he sang, even while too sick to barely sit at a recording desk. And none of them were classically trained, just growing up and doing they’re own thing and while in college, in and out of bands, finally reaching this combination that lasted over 20 years, until Freddie passed. But they’re still super popular today…you’ve heard songs of theirs you didn’t even know were theirs. Thank you, have fun!! I look forward to seeing what you think as you go…most become obsessed, like the rest of us Queenies.

Bohemian Rhapsody (must react to official video first) his best known song, it being so groundbreaking for 1975…and ever since, but every song is great, Queen was a huge talented set of four musicians with the best background musician vocals and the best lead vocal, best band frontman ever, in everything, from 1970 to the day he passed in 1991. Ok welcome to the world of queen I've been a fan since 1971 when they began. They were at the centre of music for 20 years only ended then because Freddie died,of Aids. He continued to write and make albums and videos (he was too sick to tour after 86) until a few months before his death. In fact he left an large number of vocals for the band to finish after his death.
All members wrote songs each had a number one,all are in the rock halls of fame. All highly educated to degree and beyond. They rehearsed thoroughly, they never forget the fans made them and remained so loyal even when they stopped touring. Think of any type of music, rock, ballads, metal, funk, opera they've done it I guarantee you know their music if you watch sport.
If you decide to go with more queen I promise you we the fans will guide you through. Blessings from England xx

Great song and an incredible performance. This is not Queen's most iconic song and this is only one of about 200 songs in their catalog. Probably the most commonly cited as their most famous song would be Bohemian Rhapsody the studio version. But Another One Bites The Dust, We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions are also songs that nearly everyone on the planet knows. Queen is one of the best rock bands of all time and definitely one of if not the best live rock band of all time.

Wow! Good for you first time listening to Queen! This is one of their other Masterpiece songs they came up with, I love that you watched the live version, I would suggest you treat yourself to the original studio version too, because it shows them in the studio and how it originally sounded when we heard it on the radio many years ago. This song was released in 1976, the concert you watched them in took place in 1981.
Freddie Mercury - lead vocals, pianist, John Deacon - Bass Guitar, Roger Taylor Drums and vocals, and Brian May - Lead guitarist and vocals.
All of them can play their instruments, they all wrote songs that became hits, you'd be surprised at some of the other songs they wrote. "Bohemian Rhapsody" is a masterpiece written by Freddie Mercury, released in 1975, that is worth watching next, "Radio Ga Ga", written by Roger Taylor, "Hammer to Fall" written by Brian May, "Crazy Little Thing Called Love", written by Freddie Mercury, "We will Rock You" written by Brian May, and "We are the Champions" written by Freddie Mercury. "Another one Bites the Dust" written by John Deacon, "I Want to Break Free" written by John Deacon, "You're my Best Friend" Written by John Deacon. I hope this suffices your Queen reaction enjoyment for now, there are still so many other songs to react to! Peace. ☮

Oh man.... You were treated to a nice gem. Freddie was and still is one of the best performers of all time. He was cocky and confident about his musical abilities and for damn good reasons. My personal favorite Queen song is "Stone cold crazy" it's tempo is different and faster but still just as amazing

Imo, there is an argument that this could be one of the best live performances ever. Of course, that is debatable. In 81, straight incredible voice, no effects, just talent

YEP!!!! Your reaction much the same as our grandchildren.
We have introduced them to all the greats and like you they love them all. Pink Floyd, Dire Straits, Phil Collins and the list goes on.
They are more surprised that the grandparents actually had a life and attended all the live concerts and still play our music as loud as possible 😅😂 Enjoy. Your journey to discover greatness has just begun.
