I've changed my mind on the importance of IFAKs and tourniquets for this type of use, and it's because if you're a minuteman playing Minecraft, there is no "Golden Hour," nor is there a level 1 trauma center waiting for the Blackhawk that you don't have to fly you to, where you'll undergo emergency life saving surgery, blood transfusions and a whole recovery/physical therapy regimen. If there is, it probably belongs to the enemy, and you will be treated....as a POW. In this type of Minecraft game, if you get tagged, it's Civil War medicine, and any life-saving measures you take are probably just prolonging the inevitable end of your stay in the Minecraft world.
Training my new pup to be a tough guy right now. He's my last dogs full brother. 8 weeks old so his best defense and offense are being adorable. Still miss Maggie but he's keeping us busy.
Already has been. Garand had good stuff in the beginning. This is more what I want… also I hate just a bunch of new guns because I am only allowed to use one type mainly
Garland thumb I like the guy... But seems to assume we all have money for full auto tax stamps and supressor tax stamps, supressors, ops core helmets...literally THE MOST expensive gear on the market
You were not alone doin them. I have put it off only cause Im saving to buy 5 ifaks worth of supplies to build mine. Its cheaper for me that way and I can have multiple kits that ensures I have one at home, in my truck, wife has one, and two for my kit incase I need to help and they dont have.
I've recently discovered Chase Tactical's Low Visibility Plate Carrier; it can be worn under a cover garment, and with a velcro shingle coupled with the cummerbund, it's more than enough. My IFAK goes in a Spirtus Systems fanny sack.
Nice - I have a Slickster that does basically the same role, but I do like that Chase Tac model also - may have to check that out! For civilians, this is probably the FIRST LINE setup I'd recommend for most folks - in most scenarios most will want something you can conceal under a coat/jacket if needed more than you're gonna need a full Crye JPC rig with a patrol loadout that's gonna make you an obvious threat/target for people looking....
@@FRMN8R_T4R Agreed. The SHTF space has long taken its cues from the door kickers of the GWOT, while it should have looked towards the low-viz side for inspiration.
This is my new favorite channel! Well done videos! Great tips about gear, especially about keeping it LIGHT and mobile. As you said, you have to be able to "live" in it - that means move, run, fight, climb, potentially drive, etc. And if you've never run a mile with your full kit, you definitely need to train towards that goal. I see way too many dudes who can bench 300 but no cardio. Don't get me wrong, strength training is critical also, but it shouldn't be your ONLY fitness goal and shouldn't come at the expense of being able to put that strength to practical use should the time come where you have to carry your kid and run 500yd to get out of a dangerous area.

Im gonna give what I feel is the best technique for an IFAK. Use a fanny pack. You should have an IFAK EVERYWHERE. However the most likely scenario for the use of an IFAK for a Civilian even one getting good at minecraft, is in your vehicle. You put the IFAK in a Fanny pouch, put in car. If you carry a backpack somewhere, take out stick in bag. The reason for the fanny pack is most people arent able to carry plate carriers everywhere. You're generally within 400m of your vehicle. What good is the cool guy gear if you lose your hearts because you got hit by someones railcar. Obviously if youre playing minecraft professionally, this doesnt really apply to you.

It wasn’t until I ran mine through a modified three gun course/training exercise where we wore our kits that I realized I had several thing way wrong. Hell just using my rifle with the sling and having it get all caught up in my kit switching between standing, kneeing behind cover and to prone is eye opening enough! But running with my plate carrier and diving down to prone behind cover will make you realize real Quick less is more on the front of your plate carrier. Great info in the this and channel…..keep up the great work Sir!
Hey good stuff man, consider investing into some lights/mics. Audio is a little fuzzy and the overhead lighting isn’t the best. I love what you’re putting out, and a few tweaks to the presentation could make it appealing to more people
I know you said this block wasnt about LRPatrols, but I was always a big fan of the SMOLES acronym for priority and packing lists: Self Defense (weapons, armor, ammo) Medical Emergencies (first aid, blow-out kit, litters) Observation (lights, binos, NVG) Land Navigation (maps, compass, pencil, paper) Extreme Weather Conditions (fire making, cold weather gear, wet weather gear) Sustainment (food, water, hygeine)
At best, his kit would be considered an active shooters kit. By no means is it a minuteman loadout. Remember, the minuteman wasn’t just 5 mins away. They would be required to live off the land, know bushcraft etc. Where’s/what his shelter look like equipment look like? What does he use to make fire? Does he know how to forage? These are the things we need to discuss, if we are to speak about the minuteman. Otherwise, just call it what it is….an “urban” kit. I’ve spent many years in the mountains. From the gwot era, all throughout the middle east , to currently training with and instructing mil, Leo, and SnR dudes. A minimal pc and belt is not “minuteman” lol. But nice setup nonetheless.
I would tend to agree. Though he did qualify as a direct action/home defense setup, even if he is calling it a minuteman kit. So would you approve armor or no more (chest rig only) for a true minuteman kit?
@@MochiMoose I would certainly approve of armor. Side plates and all. I currently run a Ferro Slickster and my chest rig on top of it along with my belt and 3 day assault pack. I carry a compressed 3 season tent, sleeping bag, and various tools to help split wood, make fire, shovel, filter water, on top of my fighting load. At the moment, I’m playing around with the idea of comfort being a higher priority. The mind breaks down faster than the body, having items that provide comfort will certainly keep you going much longer. Mental resiliency plays a huge role when trying to survive on the land. I’m having a lot of fun playing with this kit, so far. I’ve been running it for over a year and half, But it’s going to definitely change this year.
@@DeltaZuluActual I have a couple setups that I’m playing with. Right now, mine looks like Defense Mechanisms MEPC with side plates, an Agilite Pincer placard and a full yoke Carcajou Tactical LBE. Total 11 mags with 1 in the gun and all the sustainment stuff and things. I have a Beez Combat Split Chest Rig that I REALLY like but it doesn’t integrate too well over the PC. I’d almost prefer it to the LBE but it ends up pushing my sides out a pretty good way, and makes running a pack difficult (with the PC, stand alone it’s a non-issue). Waiting on some spear tubes to come in and change out the buckles at the center to get the rig closer together and less at the sides, but it may just have to remain a chest rig only for short range recon and a 48-72 hour pack.
@@MochiMoose I’m genuinely curious, how do you like that Yoke from Carcajou? I’m considering a their molle belt kit (minus their pouches) to work with a split rig and a 72hr pack, ultimately. How has your setup worked out for you thus far? Are you able to do any overnighters in your area? To date, the one thing that really sucks for me, is rappelling. It. Is. Not. Comfortable. Lol. But that’s why we buy kit, no? To test the shit out of it!? Lol
@@DeltaZuluActual I love it. I’ve done a couple 48 hour outings with it and it was MUCH more comfortable to run than the Tasmanian Tiger belt rig I had previously run and much better capacity than the Helikon Tex Foxtrot MkII that I also have. The padding is really good on the shoulders as well but if you’re gonna wear it with plates, you just have to consider how much padding is too much padding. The yoke itself though carries the weight of the LBE really well. I run the back slick, so I haven’t attached anything like a bladder to it, as I run a pack generally, so how something like a bladder pouch or panel/pack like the Haley strategic flatpack attached to it rides, I don’t know. I’m sure it’s atleast as good as the lunar concepts harness or others with that capability. The belt buckle is a cobra type clone but it’s plastic. Seems like a solid, quality plastic so far (only had this for 4 months or so) but it’s definitely not something you can repel with. I haven’t tried to run a repel harness underneath or over top so I can’t give you any feedback there unfortunately. It was between Carcajou and the Crossfire DZ rig. The modularity of the Carcajou setup just appealed to me and I’m glad I went that direction because I REALLY like their sustainment and GP pouches as well. They have loop material on the inside of the pouch, both the side closest to the body and outside facing wall of the pouch. Each pouch has two columns of laser cut Molle on each side, the top and the bottom. Theres a small pocket on either side right behind those Molle columns for things like a Bahco Laplander, Tourniquets, a life straw, 550 cord, etc. And then they also have a flat pouch on the outside for stuffing flat/thin items. Their 9x10 sustainment pouch has two of those on the outside and straps on the top for a ranger role, or sleeping pad, poncho, etc. It has a decent capacity, but it’s no NixieWorks buttpack in terms of capacity. Overall I’m really happy with it. Side note, I run their admin pouch on my split rig for my range finder and PVS14, both inside of a faraday dry bag. It’s probably my favorite pouch of any of the MANY various brands I own and have tried. That’s a little strange to say, reading it back but it’s still true, closely followed by the Lunar Concepts GUPI.
Cowboy emoji. Kit Set-Up enjoyer emoji. Common Sense does indeed rule in Minecraft, even if not always by large portions of the population in real life.
excellent video trench, what do you think about a part 2 for this type of video? "Civilian minuteman kit setup - The Contents" (What is recommended for kit) ex. communication setup, small tools for the belt or can go on plate carrier, admin pouch, chem lights etc. Also maybe a chest rig purpose video 🤘🤘🤘
I’m working on getting my family plate carriers and plates. Not really worried about ballistic helmets right now. We all have bump helmets though. When I get the money I’ll work on helmets.
🤠🤠🤠🤠If we're going by the SMOLES acronym (Self-defense, Medical, Observation, Landnav, Extreme Weather, and Sustainment), I need to work on: maps, compasses, NVGs, cold weather gear, wet weather gear, hygienic supplies, food and water. Some of this I already have, I just need to stuff it in a proper 30L rucksack. Everything else I have squared away. Finally, to make sure I can actually carry all this shit, I've been doing cardio on a more regular basis so that I can jawl a mile in all my shit.
It’s nuts how more and more Americans seem to think we’re on the verge of being invaded by foreign Minecraft guys.that’s a good sign I guess,we’re not all oblivious and won’t be totally caught off guard.
Another banger. I was thinking tho brother, you like to say "in minecraft" alot as if that will insulate you somehow from some sort of persecution, yet you offer training to the very people who would be carrying out the orders to persecute you. Not sure how you reconcile the two. Thank you for the great content and keep up the good work.
What if criminals start wearing American flags..... I started to think about this recently.... We need custom minute man patches/symbol so we all know were on the same team
There are legit minutemen patches you can get. thanks to the game Fallout 4 the symbol has become more mainstream friendly. Plus there are variations, but use the same colors and most of the symbols.
Who’s this handsome fella? And what have you done with our fearless leader in Minecraft….? Keep it up, bud! I can see the NUTNFANCY /// sootch influences in you; and I love it. ……..in Minecraft.
Tactical cowboy! Probably the most under rated, badass looking combination of equipment and clothing that screams utility grit and fuck you this is my america! Also I love you approach on light and simple. Some of us are getting up there in age and have back problems so wearing a 50lbs ruck and 4 level 4 plates with 8 magazines ect is a bit much.
Great stuff but us that are traning the way we fight also have to have more ammo and more water then you think you need. We are our own supply line and nobody os comming to save us. Stack those skills yall
Personally I think four 30 round mags and a 20 in the gun with 100 or more rounds in the pack, Purpose of those is topping off magazines out in the field. I personally think having a pistol quick access with two mag changes is a waste in a group. If your alone I can see that point but if you really want it, put it in your pack and maybe add like a firework store smoke or something where that extra pistol mag was. I do not have but really want is a portable powerful EMP. I think it would be immensely amusing to be frying drones, cell phones, electronic optics, radios, nods, GPS systems etc of my foes; many people suck at analog way of doing things so if you take that away that may be very useful.
But keeping a kit streamline means I can’t look like a GWOT operator or HRT specialist. I’ve been a fan of elastic cummerbunds for a while. I just need it to keep the plates tight while letting me breath
I've got l.b.e. but my problem is I've run out of room to put a dump pouch. 2 mag pouches in front, 2 canteen pouches on either side. Ifak pouch on right rear. The back I have nothing, so I can sit down and drive if needed.

Medical Emergencies (first aid, blow-out kit, litters)
Observation (lights, binos, NVG)
Land Navigation (maps, compass, pencil, paper)
Extreme Weather Conditions (fire making, cold weather gear, wet weather gear)
Sustainment (food, water, hygeine)
Made me realize a lot and reevaluate my kit thank you for this video man🤙
The fitment spot is called the thoracic inlet.
The cowboy hat looks sharp.
Ive missed the last few minecraft patches but holy shit have things turned around. This game sounds intense.
Thank you, for yet another informative tutorial for our mindcraft. 🤠
New Trench Grenade video? Yeah it’s gonna be a good week.
Cowboy emoji. Kit Set-Up enjoyer emoji. Common Sense does indeed rule in Minecraft, even if not always by large portions of the population in real life.
Many laughs! Keep rockin it.
excellent video trench, what do you think about a part 2 for this type of video? "Civilian minuteman kit setup - The Contents" (What is recommended for kit) ex. communication setup, small tools for the belt or can go on plate carrier, admin pouch, chem lights etc. Also maybe a chest rig purpose video 🤘🤘🤘
A lot of great information
My minecraft server is gonna be squared away thanks to this channel
I’m working on getting my family plate carriers and plates. Not really worried about ballistic helmets right now. We all have bump helmets though. When I get the money I’ll work on helmets.
Commenting for rithims of algo. 🤠 and quality content🍻

THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND INFORMATION! OUTFUCKINGSTANDING!!
Thank you for the videos I watch as much as I can very good Minecraft information please keep making this available
💪🤠
🤠🤠🤠🤠If we're going by the SMOLES acronym (Self-defense, Medical, Observation, Landnav, Extreme Weather, and Sustainment), I need to work on: maps, compasses, NVGs, cold weather gear, wet weather gear, hygienic supplies, food and water. Some of this I already have, I just need to stuff it in a proper 30L rucksack. Everything else I have squared away.
Finally, to make sure I can actually carry all this shit, I've been doing cardio on a more regular basis so that I can jawl a mile in all my shit.
💪
Great vid, thanks! 🤠
It’s nuts how more and more Americans seem to think we’re on the verge of being invaded by foreign Minecraft guys.that’s a good sign I guess,we’re not all oblivious and won’t be totally caught off guard.
Thank you Trench! 🤠
Man I feel like I've been watching you for hours...oh wait I was! Fun livestream broham, catching up on this vid now
Another banger. I was thinking tho brother, you like to say "in minecraft" alot as if that will insulate you somehow from some sort of persecution, yet you offer training to the very people who would be carrying out the orders to persecute you. Not sure how you reconcile the two.
Thank you for the great content and keep up the good work.
Another banger!!
🎩 don’t forget the tactical turtle neck
What if criminals start wearing American flags..... I started to think about this recently.... We need custom minute man patches/symbol so we all know were on the same team
FOG
FOG?
There are legit minutemen patches you can get. thanks to the game Fallout 4 the symbol has become more mainstream friendly. Plus there are variations, but use the same colors and most of the symbols.
Who’s this handsome fella?
And what have you done with our fearless leader in Minecraft….?
Keep it up, bud!
I can see the NUTNFANCY /// sootch influences in you; and I love it.
……..in Minecraft.
Sorry I'm a few minutes late, I was at the gym...

lol hope I am but I doubt it.
you’re young.

I'm no kit purist, but if you can't dance in your shoes, don't wear them to the wedding.
Thanks for saying you're not breaking into your IFAK to save someone else.
I tell people that, and they just think I'm an asshole.
I'm just sitting here in my mom's basement, wondering if your cowboy hat is ballistic.😂
Sorry, I had to!🔥
Tactical cowboy!
You also can play Cyberpunk in Minecraft. Evryting goes in Minecraft.
💪
Dude sure does talk like an NCO. “YOURE WRONG, FIX IT” lol😂
That plate carrier works well with a chest rig 🇺🇸
Great stuff but us that are traning the way we fight also have to have more ammo and more water then you think you need. We are our own supply line and nobody os comming to save us. Stack those skills yall
🤠 for the algorithm spirits
💪
2 vented chest seals, israeli bandages, quick clot, boo boo , 4 tourniquets. Etc..
12 years Cav Scout 🤠 still wear my stetson
very nice hat mr grenade
Seven mags nice
💪
But keeping a kit streamline means I can’t look like a GWOT operator or HRT specialist.
I’ve been a fan of elastic cummerbunds for a while. I just need it to keep the plates tight while letting me breath
I've got l.b.e. but my problem is I've run out of room to put a dump pouch. 2 mag pouches in front, 2 canteen pouches on either side. Ifak pouch on right rear. The back I have nothing, so I can sit down and drive if needed.
