I rocka G26 with a Tlr6 and 12rd mag in an Eberlestock fannypack when I go to the gym. It's super slow compared to a regular holster, but doesn't pull my gym shorts down

it cant help you if its on your body in a holster in a bag.. when seconds matter you are digging in a fanny pak

i carry appendix. i dont ever carry off bodied. if i need it and cant get to it then what's the point to carry it...

Thanks trench. Keep it up... I have a 10.5 inch ar15 .. g19(p80). I'd like to hear a little more elaborating on how to do some of what you Said on a tight budget. Armor and all that nice equipment cost money. Anything you can think of that will work for alternatives? Would be appreciated

I use a fanny pack at the gym. It's the only way that works for me in my gym clothes.

They're handy rifles, but I find you immediately lose the sights when trying to do anything like a Bill drill, or Mozambique. The slick stock doesn't let you fight the muzzle flip. Put one of the paratrooper folding stocks with a pistol grip on it and an optic, and I'd be ok running one for shtf if that's all I had

I personally enjoy off body carry. It allows me to carry other things as well- medical, multi tool, etc. I keep my Shield Plus in my holster, in my bag. Then I have the option to carry in the bag or IWB.

4 O'clock IWB for me. When I was a kid one of my uncles would carry in a fanny pack sometimes back in the early 2000's I think it had a quick release feature to draw fast if needed

Not being an expert but having owned one, all I can say is it's light, extremely maneuverable, and I wouldn't want to get shot with it...

I've seen there's a few different companies building grip modules specifically for the m17&18 wouldn't mind one in good ole fashioned steel.

Here's my algorithm comment contribution. Shoot both. Rds are better, without a doubt, without question. But what rds really help with is the refinement of the fundamentals. Grip, trigger press, return, etc. They are an amazing diagnostic for your shooting. Ultimately what they can do is make you an even better irons shooter, and you should shoot irons periodically to be used to it. Irons can fail and so can red dots. Shoot both, because it makes you a better shooter to do so.
