Um you haven't played Horizon, you're not in a position to say that. At least not yet.
Bloodborne is basically souls games with a new coat of paint. It also acquires it's weakness that is the trash combat system.

I really do love that beautiful screen behind them - it can completely change the look and feel of the entire studio, and because it's literally a massive TV, the reflections shine off the desk.... so cool.

TBF, Uncharted has middling gameplay. It's the story that drags it up but the gameplay department of UC4 was too sorry and the story was even quite disappointing.

PS4's BEST game!? OMG! Better than Uncharted 4 and Nioh? I don't believe it, but I'm excited as hell to play it. Horizon next week and Nier Automata the week after - my poor wallet. But what an awesome time to be a gamer.

I have a PC and a PS4. A PC for obvious reasons plus Xbox exclusives (the problem is I don't give a single shit about any Xbox exclusives other than Ori and the blind forest unfortunately lmao) and a PS4 for takes like this, Uncharted, The Last of Us, God of War, Gravity Rush, infamous, Little Big Planet, and MANY more.
Indeed, I have a Ps4 Pro and a PC myself. So I get all the games. Horizon was bloody beautiful, and super fun. Seldom have I ever had a game where I had to actually setup an elaborate plan of traps and ammo types to cycle to take down a gigantic robot.
1) It absolutely IS BETTER than UC4
2) It absolutely IS AT LEAST equally as good as Zelda BOTW (Graphically AND gameplay depth)
3) It is the most exciting new IP in a decade
4) It innovates storytelling, merging of various mechanics and world-building to a new standard
5) Guerrilla NEEDS to be awarded immensely for their achievement

I find myself being more and more attracted to Greg. It's weird considering I'm married to a beautiful woman. Lol.
Colin should play Uncharted 4 again. I was unsure about how I felt after my first playthrough (thought it was great, but was still unsure). My 2nd and 3rd playthrough solidified it as my favorite Uncharted and on par with TLoU. You really appreciate the little things (and big things) that much more.
Pierre Conrad I've beaten UC4 twice myself, and I disagree that it's on par with TLOU. It borrows a lot from TLOU, but the setting just doesn't let accomplish that imo. UC4 is a great game, but TLOU is indeed unbeatable, cause it's gritty, immersive and the characters are so relatable and original on a level perhaps never attained in the video game space.
I think if I had to choose, I'd say TLoU is better, but my point was more to the notion that Uncharted 4 achieves its goals as well as TLoU. The setting and characters will be down to preference, but they both achieve the same level of quality. It's pretty much impossible to compare the tone of either. That's up to the individual. TLoU is an amazing post-apocalyptic game and Uncharted is an amazing globe-trotting adventure game. Apples and oranges, in a sense.
Pierre Conrad I completely agree. The more and more I played Uncharted 4, the greater my experience got. On my first playthrough, I was simply just taking everything in and letting my hype and nostalgia settle in nicely. The 2nd and 3rd playthroughs really showed me just how much of a masterpiece "A Thief's End" is though. 💯
Pierre Conrad I literally have over 300 hours on Uncharted 4. Playstation told me when it told me my top 3 games of 2016 (second was TLoU Remastered). It's just incredible. Exceeded all expectations.

I honestly didn't know that Guerilla could pull it off. After basically only making Killzone games, I am extremely impressed by them making not only a great open world RPG, but one of the best open world RPG's on PlayStation.

Before starting the video I bet my ass Colin did not beat the game - one of the main reason being, he was too busy doing something else and wasted way too much time desperately chasing after every single 'collect-athon' icons on the map. About the way one of the presenters cleaned his glasses, Heres a tip that im using:
1 Rinse them off in cold-ish water (just below lukewarm as to not hurt any kind of treatment they've had done to them)
2 Apply some mild soap (hand soap, liquid. Cant tell you what brands work but you can ask for a very mild soap and it should be fine. Or ask your optician what soaps they would recommend).
3 Spread it all over the glass on both sides, use thumb and index finger to apply and make sure you get it all covered.
4 Rinse off properly.
5 Blow away any remaining water (rubbing with a towel or paper can damage the coating and will leave annoying residues.
Done.

I gave witcher 3 20 hours trying to find what people like about it but never could. It was an ok game but not anything i'd ever replay.
I was around level 25 when i stopped playing and had finished the town where you have to save the stupid poet guy and fix up his stupid little tavern. I had just taken a boat to a new area. The quantity of side quests was annoying other then the gwent stuff which i hated i had went to every board and completed all side quests below level 30 before moving on. I was in upgraded griffin witcher gear when i quit playing.

Am I the only one who kind of wanted it to at least be similar to Killzone? Killzone 2 is one of my all time favorite games.
One thing GG is really good at is how well they detail everything. Look at the armor and weapons in killzone. All of them have a very high level of detail and quality to them that makes them stand out from other games. This is why horizon is so amazing, an open world game with those qualities

I'm going to take a second to say why I love you guys so much. When I watch you guys I feel like I'm hanging out with my friends, I've been in a position where two of my friends love something so much that they are trying to get me to like it countless times. When I watch you guys sit down and have conversations about whatever, it feels the same way. It's a weird thing because I've never met any of you guys and you don't know I exist yet I feel this connection like we are in the same wavelength even when I disagree with you guys I feel like I'm right there with you.

The Shannara series is probably the most similar other narrative work in terms of the after post apocalypse plot. This one handles it as a more salient issue but the Shannara series, especially the books, takes place in a lord of the rings type era but exists in our world after we destroy ourselves. Terry Brooks has prequel books that take place in the immediate post-apocalypse within the same universe.
Fck, just bought horizon and I was looking for the horizon review from the kinda funny crew. I wasn't expecting to see collin in it and this had hit me kinda hard because now I remember the chemistry that this 2 idiots had. I love both of them, and I think that both of them have done wrong things that we could all forgive but at the same time I like the kinda funny pcurrent state and I think that collin will have a great future so.. I just hope the best for all of you guys, really.. but please get together some day, drink a beer, talk a little, not about this but about the rest of all the other things that happens in your lifes, you guys need to talk and let your pride at the bench for some time not for us but for both of your guys..

foxhound6364 there's towers to climb, animals to hunt to craft a bigger wallets and shit, loads of collectibles and icons on the map. So yeah, it's an Ubisoft type open world game. Which means a no for me.

Convinced me to greatly consider getting it. There's so many great games coming this year, and I unfortunately won't be able to get all of them. Horizon was just shy on the list of games I thought I'd get, and the only thing holding it back from being #2 on the list was its story and its RPG mechanics. Great news to hear that they are done well, so now it's much higher on the list. Thank you.
