If only there was a way to get him to race everyone else like he races billy. That would eliminate his regular post-race interview when he states he got beat because he didn't think he needed the scramble. He, nor his team, will ever know the very best the falcon can run until he, or billy, drives it like they stole it. Billy would do that first and every pass. We get it Tommy, you don't want to break it. It's been the top perforner for SRC without question. But, you just don't know how well it can compete with the top cars until you scramble every chance you get against top competition. Maybe think of it this way. You have the best driving (straight a to b consistant runs) car at the race. Every race, including Gangsters Paradise. Meaning, everyone would die (spend ubsurd money) to have a car which handles like the falcon so they could scramble every race ... and they would. Every freakin gangster would, just ask billy !
Why don't you? All or nothing. Let it roll ! Have some fun ! Btw, if it breaks, we get to visit with the extended cast of SRC family uncles ... solid content. Gangsters & Uncles. Tommy, no one does it better than that racing family from ohio.
@@dbeelee8564 Makin Ohio proud one race at a time the Falcon by far is my favorite out of the fleet at SRC I'm freaking excited about the new engine it's just what it needed 100% .Tommy is one helluva driver Lil to conservative sometimes I understand he didn't want hurt the car. I'm with you big races the scramble engaged yesss sir finish line seemed to be inches in some big event wins thus season over all I'm very impressed with 2guns his 60ft is best in business when he's on his G.A.M.E I'd put him up against any racer in the country ‼️💯✌️🔥💪🔥💪🔥
I really think it would be worthwhile to bring the Nova to Tin Soldier Race Cars and have them get the chassis straightened out. Jason has told Billy numerous times that he would help out any time. They build the badest chassis in the country and would for sure get that thing all squared up and dialed in short order so it can leave under some serious power. The nova seems to launch so soft compared to other cars, by the time it starts rolling it’s hard to close the gap. It would not only make some awesome content to see Billy and Jason collab, but they could make that suspension setup/ 4-link, roll bar, shocks and set up properly on the scale so it will be dialed and competitive virtually overnight. Also every time Billy visits the shop, you can tell Jason respects him for what he’s achieved by his hustle and being able to work with what he has to make it fast, and it’s obvious he enjoys teaching him what he knows. I think Billy could learn a lot about chassis setup at this high level of competition by bringing the Nova there to get it dialed. Don’t be afraid to ask for some help, you won’t regret it 🙏🙌🚀

If you watch, it doesn't 330 very well at all, it leaves really soft, and then doesn't seem to have the power out the back either.
Whether that is chassis or a power issue or both, it needs to be addressed before they try to run the car anymore.

The Nova has what looks to be rear steer which I realize preload from the bent anti roll can mimic and I know that if you did a bar change that you probably stringed the car to ensure the rear end was straight but considering the time that car spent collecting dust before you got it, the couple of incidents it has been involved in, etc I really think you'd be well served to replace all the rod ends with really good ones and probably do a fat boy antiroll at the same time. Some people say that they don't like projects like that because it doesn't make it faster but I don't know about you but peace of mind knowing that I'm doing my due diligence for safety is a cool feeling to me!!lol
Your subs have grown attached to you over time. I, for one, want you to stick around for a while!! 😂🤣
The cheapest thing you can do that makes the car faster is rip it completely apart and put hands and eyes on every piece only thing it cost you is your time and whatever you find that needs replaced but that needed spent anyway (well and a couple cases of your buddies favorite beverage to pay them for helping)

He does indeed. Nick's a one man show, built his car literally from an old Dodge pickup body and used, burnt up parts from the Dirty 30 to what he's running today. Picking up more and more round $money$ really helps keep him going.

Watching this video of the nova"s suspension it appears to me that the shock and 4link are to close to centerline of the pumpkin, which accounts for the extra body role and unstability at high speeds under the extreme power your making .Doesn"t look like there is alot of room, but if they could be moved out,it would drive as good as the falcon.

Hey guys happy 4th, on sprint cars they use to use a thick piece of moly tubing as a anti roll bar, keyed with a round pin not square, the only replacement after was it would stretch the arms
That’s basically whats in the car now is a simple piece of moly tubing except the ends are welded on since they don’t have to be removable like they do on a sprint car
@@54raceman moly when weld will get stress cracks in about 6 months, spray check the welds, may be cracking

Your current Anti Roll bar looks very light weight to me. Get rid of the stamped steel and put billet ends on it. Hasn't Tony talked you into a Titanium one yet?
