I have several of those accessories, but I have to say my favorite is the snap mount because like you said it makes all my other mounts better. The ability to just remove the camera from one mount (or surface) to another in a matter of literally seconds is amazing. Highly recommend it.

My favorite and most versatile accessory is a floaty.
It can work as a bite mount. It floats. It’s the lightest. It can almost be a tripod in a way. You can drop it and be more protected. The window of the floaty, fits into the sticky GoPro mounts and acts as a quick detach.
NDs are sweet. Those magnetic mounts are magic for vloggers.

Thanks for showing me the accessories for the GoPro. I have a hero 7 and I'm disabled and I'm almost 2 months in the action camera lifestyle. I've got 2 to 3 mounts that you're showed me. If you have any ideas on a couple of other mounts that I can use please let me know thank you
Great video David. I have 70% of this gear (100% 0f the basics) mostly because of your recommendations. The one thing I appreciate the most is the Snap Mounts. When you reviewed this product I started ordering it before your video ended. They are amazing! I use it for ALL of my driving videos because I can leave the suction mount on the windshield and without disturbing the suctions placement and angle, I can grab the Hero 9, do my thing, and return it to exactly the same position. Sometimes, I remove it just for security reasons. And for business videos, I can move the cameras between tripods effortlessly. Seriously, my video setups are so much faster thanks to Snap Mounts!

Thanks for doing this. On my motorcycle I use the SmallRig magic arm and clamp this set up works pretty well except the vibration from the handlebars is a bit of a problem.

Great list. I love my snap mounts and makes switching between mounts so easy. Downside for me is that as I modify my Jeep I am working on shedding weight so I go with aluminum parts and therefore reduce where I can stick the snap mount on my jeep. Thanks for the updated list!

Thanks for the great rundown! I'm basically using your video as a shopping list. The Nu Bear looks amazing and I'm wondering -- do you carry it AND the Ulanzi MT-16? It seems if the Nu Bear had a ball head there's be no need for both. I've found lots of things to insert a ballhead in a 1/4-20 but nothing for a GoPro mount but it seems like that might make it perfect -- a ballhead that you could add when you're not in the water so you only need to carry the one. Do you generally take both on a trip?

One item you forgot to mention is a thumbscrew wrench . I prefer the ones that fit on the outside and on the inside of the screw on the other end of the wrench. Mount fit tolerances vary widely and there are places where the hi-torque screws can't be used, so wrenches to the rescue.

I have most of these accessories… probably because I’m an OG subscriber… and love most of them. Love the Snap Mounts. Love the mouth mount. I have the old version GoPro three way but the tripod is useless. Looks like the new one is way better. I did make a Christmas list of the ones I don’t have. Thanks David. Trying to figure out a way to attach a long pole to my motorcycle. Insta 360 looks like a contender but need attachment. Or the clamp mount but not sure it will hold off road.

Thanks David!!! I came to your video cuz I'm looking into purchasing a GoPro for the first time. To vlog my vacation and activities. I found one online on Amazon that comes with a lot of accessories. I saw several that would come in handy for tripods and grips. As well as way to mount. My husband wants to mount one to the truck to check is backing up our 5th wheel. The suction cup one was nice. But as I start out would the kit and hero 10 be a good start or should I just buy the 10 and accessories separate? Also, saw a video with adhesive mounts. Think it was yours but maybe not. How are they compared to? I watch a lot of Keep Your Daydream and Changing Lanes of course they have several GoPros and I'm not anywhere at their level of filming but I want to start out with something. Got a Samsung galaxy ultra 21 phone and does great filming but have no mounting or tripods.

Question: When I am using wide angle in video time lapse, of my Hero 7, I kept getting the edge of the ND filers in the frame. Is there a brand of ND filters that will not have its edge capture during wide angle video time lapse?

Great video. I just want to mention that I have had success using a third party aluminum thumbscrew. It acts as a heat-sink and helps to dissipate heat away from the camera.

Love this! I have the both GoPro 3 way mounts and those are my general hand held situations. I use my GoPole Bobber mount for water activities. Use the old chesty and suction cup mount. If I were to use a suction cup mount more I’d definitely go with the sea sucker. I also use the GoPole Reach pole and dome. I love the under over water shots so I have been pleased with how GoPole’s
Dome has performed. I just ordered the dual mount because of this video and will be referring back to for future use.

Here's my tip: when I'm using a mic with a deadcat windscreen, a Ulanzi PT-3 with a 1/4-20 to cold shoe adapter makes a great stand-off to keep the deadcat out of frame.

Hi sir, cool video, have you checked out the ulanzi gp-4 magnetic quick release mount ? It might also help with removing thumbscrews everytime you need to transfer the camera from one mount to another.

Do you recommend a gimble at all for the Hero 10? I'm WAY out of date with GoPro (I have a Hero 6) and I almost always use my Karma Grip. But I've read so much about the stability in the Hero 10 and the fact that they don't sell the Karma Grip anymore. But is it good to carry one? Or have you found the stability is totally fine without it? (I really just use my GoPro for hiking, camping, and traveling with my pup!)

It's crazy because you buy a GoPro and it's the very first thing you need. Like, even just to get a handle or tripod! But to really get the crazy shots that are what a GoPro is made for, all these things come in for a whole lot of fun!
