    Test for: Pronation
Action: Measured height of navicular tubercle from the floor
Statistics: Research indicates this test is reliable, but there is no accuracy data. Based on the function of this test, this should not be surprising. A measurement related to joint motion is goniometry, and further study will be needed to assess "what amount of pronation" may be associated with which diseases, and over what lengths of time.
Best use: Track progress. The Brookbush Institute uses this test as a continuous interval measure to track the efficacy of interventions intended to improve pronation.
Included in Clusters: No known ankle pathology test-item cluster

have you seen the variation where instead of measuring the drop, the outline of the foot is traced with a marker while nonweightbearing and then again while weight-bearing?
