- I SWEARRRRRR I did NOT plan for this video to be over three hours long, in fact I feel like I actively tried to make it shorter this month but obviously failed miserably. 😐😐😐 In this week's of I do lots of plant chores I hate doing, visit North Shore Tropicals twice for a plant event and shop overhaul, show you guys some of the new plants I've acquired and lots of repots and chatting as usual!

Me: eh, I don’t really feel up to watching a movie tonight.
Also me: why yes, I would love to watch a 3-hr long plant chores video
SAME OMG😂 literally me at 3:00AM watching this after saying “maybe I shouldn’t watch a movie tonight…”
I have you chatting while i do all my chores...plants and house 😉
Love watching the whole thing at once (having it on in the background as I do plant chores/ go about my day) it helps me focus but remain relaxed 😎
Listennnn man I watch these videos when I cook, clean, get ready for the day. Sometimes I watch them twice. 😅
Watched it all in one go! lol. Perfect video for plant chores 😊
“Sometimes I feel like I have a lot of great ideas, and then I do it and I’m like ‘woah… what happened there’” 🤣 this is the most relatable thing I’ve heard in a long while. For the record, I think the things you do turn out pretty well 💙
I love to listen to your videos while I’m doing my own plant chores. Very motivating to get my ass up and get plant shit done ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much, I watch every singl video all the way through…. Even the 3 hour + ones😀😀
Thank you, Charmaine! I watched it in 3 chunks: one while resting, one while doing dishes and one upon awakening when bone tired too. Worked a charm! Love, love, love your week of to do's. You and Alice are the best, so funny 😊 and sweet 💕👩❤👩💘 !
I love when plants pleasantly surprise you like that Papi hybrid! It's one of the things I love most about the hobby☺ and my anthuriums seem to do that AS SOON as I'm like " hmm..im not sure about you🤔" 😂
Ohmygosh! That Frenchie is soooo cute! And I love when you speak for the dogs 🐕😂
I think you both are amazing plant ladies. No need to worry about how you talk you are doing great!
Just finished watching, I love your plant to-dos! They let me fuss over plants vicariously when mine need to be left alone to do their thing. 😊
The way I’m about to drop EVERYTHING
Yessss
Yess a 3 hour video, thanks for another long video. watched it all to the end. First omg that gigantum chunk you gotr to clean so jealous. Love doping those. It so cool you get to go and help out at the shop.
Love watching your videos in there entirety. I look forward to them. My daughter and I watch them together mostly.
Hi! Fellow ADHDer hort fanatic here; leaving comments bc you asked 🙃
I just found your page this week because I found two Alocasia azlanii plants at my grocery for $16.99 + a Ficus Audrey for $6, and I stood there for half an hour or so looking up care and light/moisture requirements because I had a feeling that these would all want more light than my north-facing sliding patio door provides, and I'm outta LED space.
I think it pushed your page while I was going through Alocasia care videos to bookmark to a playlist. I have really enjoyed your candor and commentary, and the way you comment your thoughts out loud as you do things. I just burned through this video while finally doing a bunch of plant chores, and Im about to repot these two Alocasias and start the next 3hr To-Do video in a sec.
They were both overwatered and showing black spots on the leaves, while simultaneously showing brown-edged, yellowing, crispy leaves from the drought periods between overwatering. Grocery florist counters 🙄 am I right?
But I decided they were worth taking home and seeing if I could rescue them. One had 6 leaves, 3 crispy and 1 spotted. One had 5, 3 yellowing or spotted and one crispy. Both had 3 inflorescences (well, one had 5 but two were wilting and limp). After letting the substrate (straight up peat) dry out and pruning them, I'm ready to remove the soil mass and put them in some glass with perlite, orchid bark from the bottom of the bag, and a touch of peat (since I don't have any pon or hydroton or moss to mix with the perlite, and I know it compacts heavily over time).
I think I'm going to give the peat a soak in a bowl before I go separating things, since I've seen how fragile these roots can be in your videos. They're both going into terrarium jars big enough for the one plant each after transplanting, and seem to be free of pests presently. I've never dealt with spider mites before and I know they're a nightmare so I'm praying I dodge that for a good while. Most of what I have inside is just snake plants, spider plants, two large dumb canes, and lots and lots of coleus. So, pests aren't much of a problem for me.
Much appreciation for your effort and sharing all that you do. Looking forward to working my way through your channel 💚
I watched your video to the end. I enjoyed it very much. You are such a hard worker and your collection is gorgeous.
I always look forward to these long videos! Often times I watch them in one sitting, although this time I watched it in chunks across 2 days. Enjoy your vacation and visiting with your family!! ❤️
You are so organized! I’m quite envious of that! It is not my best skill 😜
I watched it all the way through at one time and enjoyed it. The plants you got are awesome.
Love these extra long videos :) It's makes me feel less weird for spending 3 or 4 hours doing my own plant chores lol. Watched all the way through, though I split it over 2 days.
Omg I laughed so hard at Pudge looking at the camera when you pointed at it 😂😂😂😂
Now I'm just THINKING about him looking at the camera and I'm laughing
Finally got round to watching ur videos and i love the really long ones as i watch some, do plant chores with the videos in the background and watch the rest :)
Watched it all the way through…in one day! And honestly…I was sad when it was over 🥲 thank you for always putting out such fun, high-quality, chaotic (in the best way), lighthearted content 💚
I enjoy longer videos like these because I can keep coming back to them until I’ve watched all the way through! I enjoy seeing all your plant chores so much!!
I enjoyed watching this whole video while I did my own plants chores!
Charmaine!! Thank you for all you do for us! And congrats on your new nephew!! I wish they could bottle new baby smell and put it in a candle or something. Ugh I love that smell 💚 I hope you have a great time on your much deserved vacation!! 🏝

Great video you can keep me company on my drives and congrats on the orchid that’s impressive I’ve killed so many now that I’ve decided to give it up.
Watched/listened to it all as I did plant chores as well. Thanks for making such awesome content!😊😁
I binge watched the whole video. Your videos are so relaxing. Thank you!
Aww thank you Sharon!! I'm glad you're enjoying them 🥰
I enjoyed watching this video💚🐾 it’s a must rewatch for me.
Will always watch your content no matter how long 💚
Tons of stupid chores to do around the house and cleaning the backyard for a Tropicals pop up event in my backyard tomorrow night, so I’m super excited for a loonnnng video to fuel me. Extra scratches for grumpy Pudge

I watched the whole video while doing my plant chores and cleaning...Loved it!
Took me 3 days to watch it 😀 and I love it 😍
I watched you whole video enjoyed it!
Love it❤️
Alice asking why you filmed a 3+ hour video, I swear they are the best kind of videos, I did slowly watch this one while I tackled my own “few days of”. Congratulations on 10k +!!
Man these have the most calming vibe, I ll lyk how long I watched it 😴😴 it's 3 am
It took me 1 week to finish this video but I'm glad I did it! It was really nice and relaxing to watch you ☺
Good vibes! 🌿🎉😁Looking forward to checking out all your videos. Great recommendation Charmaine!
I watched the entire thing over 2 days just in case you’re interested. And I love your videos!❤️
I'm an hour and a half threw this video and the stinky bagina part was SO FUNNY! I love ur videos and the dedication u have to putting them out. Ur an amazing person and I so appreciate u and your videos. I'll probly Comment again when it ends. But ty for the video and have a great weekend!
Love your long videos. I play them while I’m doing my own plant chores and it makes great company! Btw have you ever done a video on how to take plant photos? Your photos on ig are really nice!
Be careful with only using one spray with spider mites, they can become resilient to pesticides, more so then other pests. 💚
Can’t believe you finally hit the three hour mark! This one is going to take a few days to watch. 😂
Love your growth in front of the camera over the last year!! 😍
Spider mites are the freaking worst!! Right now I'm rotating between Safer's insecticidal, Captain Jacks Dead Bug Spray, and two kinds of the Doktor Doom spider mite spray. But I'm going to try Azamax which is a systemic for spider mites, and I'm hoping the incorporation of that plus the sprays will teach them to stay the f*** away from me 🤣
Also it's been quite liberating to slowly release my insecurities and just be myself in front of the camera! Some days are harder than others, but hopefully it only gets easier as time goes by 🥴
I loved that video :) You always encourage me to get up and do my plant stuff and I appreciated doing it with you.
earlier upload! makes me happy!! thank you for the 3hrs video! love it!!
I love these week-of videos :) I find them so relaxing and they help me to unwind. Watched the whole thing!! Over 10k!!
I know it was long but I enjoyed it! Thanks
the timelaps at 30:00 with the loop, I'd literally have something like this on for hours while I study (busy doing that now). Like a no talking plant care with some moments of text captions when something noteworthy happens like doggo coming :)
Keep up the awesome videos! I used to boil my substrates but it just took too long. Now I just bleach and rinse.
Oh my gosh that esmeraldense aff! I hope your narrow form survives...I just imported one myself and hoping it'll survive me care!
Also, looking forward to the video when you repot that el choco!
THREE HOURS!!! I’m so excited :)
I watch the whole thing :) love the long videos!
Oh dang! Now I need to make longer videos ❤ Very relaxing ☺️
The best music!!!!! All the time 💚💚
Love watching these!! Congrats on 10k 🥳 and the new lil one 🥰
I plan all my own plant chores around these videos 🥲
I love videos like this from you! ❤❤❤
I watched the whole thing but I did watch in several viewings. It’s been a lot of fun. It’s
Love ya lisa!! 💖💖
Oh I watched this in full...loved it
Just finished the video. It was playing in the background as I worked on my own plants. It has been a long day of plant chores but your video made it so much better!
Watched and enjoyed the whole video!!!
I had to laugh watching you use those giant gloves on your tiny hands. Lol 😂
Not me checking my phone for an alarm 😂😅
Yay!! We finally get a 3hours video XD.
Congrats on 10k btw 🎉💕
I'm only about an hour in and I just finished preparing dinner💚🪴. Hi Alice and Chamaine friendly sub to you both...lol😜😉😘! Love these longer videos, that'swhat got me to sub to you Charmaine when you redid your plamt closet, I was inspired to redo mine😉. My least favorite is cleaning pots as well,🥵🥴😭 I have a ton to clean in my kids bathroom. My son keeps asking WHEN will I get them cleaned and out..lol! I'm off to do them now, as I watch the rest of your video. My problem is I have no where to put them while they are drying🙄and I have so many😬😜.
Week ofs feels like a holiday now I love just calling it “week ofs” also my cat is the same right now with the being needy and omg it is kind of anxiety inducing! I wonder if it’s the time of year or something?? I thought it was his diet change maybe those probiotics are working their magic on our babies
Congrats on 10k!!!
I’m really behind with watching videos but I’ve got the lurgy so I could watch this in bed and it was soooo good, love a 3 hour marathon video ❤
Love your videos!! Congrats on the 10k subs 🎉
A tip for pests is to wash your fruits and veg in vinegar or put it in the fridge and wash before eating, don’t wear outside shoes inside. And keep a bottle of 70% isopropyl alcohol in the kitchen and with the plant supplies to wipe the counters shelves and plant supplies. Obviously prays will come in in dirt you buy, moss , and bark but mixing DE in with your potting soil and wash new plants with Castile soap and soak old pots in a 1/4 ratio bleach/water before re using, don’t re use dirt and clean/ dust leaves with dead bug 1X a month , I add a tsp of been to the bottle to kill any small populations before they explode, systemics are great but don’t work on mites and worst of all mites can hibernate threw whiter . So just when you think they are gone, poof it’s spring! They are back! Hope this helps, that there is 1-2 pointers that might help you , that you didn’t know or can stop an infestation.
Just made it to the end of the video 😄
You have a BEAUTIFUL collection! How long have you been collecting plants??
The scalprum is so gorgeouss, so far I've only been able to not kill my cuprea, she lost all her leaves but is pushing out 2 new ones, all the others are back to corms... So I shouldn't haha 😅
That Esmeraldense aff😍😍😍😍🔥
I liked to spend the day with you :)
I have a crystallinum red I'm propping an I got the first lil leaf,an I'm so excited..
I didn’t expect to watch this in one go 😅
omg that Pon sterilization is so satisfying to watch
Lol I went to a clear out sale at NST and Lauren was like "oh we have some Manjula, those ones that Charmaine was -- oh wait has that video come out yet? Okay nevermind I won't spoil it for you guys" 😂
Yeah you can tell Lauren this is great content lol I'm mesmerized
Love your videos
I didn’t realise there is alot involved with pon in cleaning it and boiling it to reuse and clean. Can you buy them already to use it straight away? I don’t think i can go through all that. Soil is definitely handier and easier for me and I usually changed the soil once a year. And fertilise during the summer months. Oh you also love Backstreet Boys i am also a big fan since they came out and been to there concerts. Nick is my favourite. ☺️I would love to be surrounded by plants all day must be nice that you get a chance too. Also know alot of planty friends in the process. I think this is your longest video. I usually leave these when i am doing household chores and cooking and planty things.i love that you have the pier where you are looks relaxing to walk there.
yeah , i like your way , yes you're very good in PLANT's , welldone , i enjoyed à lot the 3 hours of plants video , greets , Carlito from the flanders
so ,.... I subscribed ;-)
