I usually roll the clay into a long tube then it fits better into the long molds.

If you put a damp, not wet, paper towel in with your DAS clay it will give it just enough moisture to make it more usable without spoiling it
Can you explain it more please? I keep mine in a Ziploc freezer bag, but still it seems to dry out somewhat. I'd love to know how to lengthen the life.
@@charlotted6247 I'm sorry there's not much else to say, just take a paper towel and wet it and squeeze out as much as you possibly can and put it in your bag with your clay that's in its own bag. The clay absorbs just a tiny bit of moisture from the paper towel that keeps it malleable
The one thing I can tell you Charlotte is to double bag the clay. Squeeze all the air out of each bag and seal them up as best as you can.
I enjoyed watching you create all the projects. But the box with the large bird on top and the lock with two smaller birds on front is my favorite. I am also partial to the dark stain with white dry brush technique. Love your show...

I love the birdsong mould too! Haven't used it as much as I want but you have given me an idea. I will be on the look out for a box to decorate. I have also been eyeing some moulds that are beaded trim to do something like you did with the sconces but I haven't made myself spend the money yet. Thank you so much for sharing your projects!
I love the birdsong mould! The detail is awesome. I really like the lock n key one too. The beaded one in my description is about $10. I find a lot of the moulds on Amazon with coupon clip deals or on sale. I'm glad you enjoyed the video.
