  • In this video I go over my camera settings for shooting birds and wildlife. I use the Canon 90D for my photography and videos. These tips and setting can be used with different cameras.

      It is amazing how fast they can swoop down and grab a peanut.

      I personally think that the 90D is good up to ISO 3200, which gives quite a lot of leeway with the shutter speed.

    The Canon 70 200 L that I pose and that you mentioned stands out for its great image quality, although for photographing birds the focal length may not be ideal ideal, it may turn out to be a bit short, but where it lends itself when the distance is not excessive is a surprising lens for image quality and autofocus.

      Yes unfortunately the 70-200 just doesn’t have the length to be a good birding lens. I suppose if you could make a blind where you could draw the birds in very close it would be a great lens for birding. Thanks for watching
