Those batteries are high performance and storage, high output they can caught fire rather easy if not used properly

I dunno bout using it for handheld, but I like that the dock is basically built into the screen. Could be used for some unique setups in small or weirder spaces. Like im imagining setting it up in front of my treadmill to play some rpgs or something while walking. Wouldnt need a dock or a bunch of cables going around cause its all in one. Or good as a travel screen for tabletop with friends or something.
I already think the Switch OLED is heavy playing Splatoon 3 for an hour or longer. That is going to heavy as hell.
Can you attach third party joycon replacement (pro style, hori, etc.) to the screen rails instead of joycon?
I would love this for a switch 2.
Those big batteries are used in headlights, usually used for hillwalking at night but I have quite a few. They are useful if you need a focused bright light for fine work eg repairing old hifi or modding consoles eg upgrading M2 on Steam deck etc.
Great idea, terrible implementation. maybe version 2.0 will be much better, before Switch 2.0 comes out.
The top and bottom bezels are huge, also looks heavy, not just in weight but in price too 🤣
Showing Star Fox makes this product look even clunkier!
Yeah I wasn’t really thinking at the time and just enjoying some games. Probably star fox was a poor choice

I remember back in the day there was something like this for the PSTV/ Vita TV, it gave you something that was the size of the Switch, but it had the Blacklist issue to contend with
I would probably just unscrew the joy-con holders and use it as a permanent table top mode if it wasn't so cumbersome to control the volume and brightness
Those are 18650 batteries as mentioned. I use them for my EDC flashlight and the trusted ones I can recommend would be Molicel P28A (approx 2800mAh), Sony/Murata VTC6 (around 3000mAh) and Samsung 30Q (approx 3000mAh) and can deliver high currents if needed. Just note, 18650 batteries are sold 'unprotected' meaning they don't have circuits pre-installed to control the current delivery but they are generally safe as long as you buy the legit ones (the three I mentioned are so popular that there are a lot of fake ones being sold online). Also these batteries are also commonly used on vapes.
