Please do a lecture on how Khilafat can be restored considering Hazart Imam Hussain (RA) sacrifice for it in this month. I have tried to prepare some points but I am faulty and possibly wrong and also not a religious scholar. What is khilafat? What is the procedure of election of Khalifa? Answer this in the light of the event where Prophet Muhammad (SAW) appointed highly capable and religiously pious men to elect a man among them to lead as his political successor while Hazarat Ali(R.A) remained the next defacto leading religious figure. Also, how successive Khalifa were chosen? When it is not permissible to stand up against Khalifa keeping in mind Hazarat Abu Bakr (RA) and Hazarat Ali (RA) crackdown on rebels. What are the basic essentials on which true Khilafat is based and how it is different from other forms of government (monarchy, dictatorship, oligarchy,etc), keeping in mind the contents of treaty by Hazart Imam Hassan and also the reason of later opposition by Hazart Hussain leading to martyrdom.
