    Hi Matt fitting a prop round the wrong way won't make it fly backwards but it will reduce thrust by ALOT. I had a friend who did this. He still flew but climb out was terrible. I spotted it and he spun it around and was amazed

    Awesome. Nifty cage. Sexy exhaust. I'd love to see a detailed EOS 150 vs Vittorazi 185 comparison. Apples to apples measured thrust, weight, maintenance schedule, temps and throttle response.

    • @minyardmatt
      @minyardmatt  Před 5 lety +2

      Dylan Matlow moster is much more powerful for the few extra pounds it is extremely stronger & better for heavier lifting. The eos 150 is very smooth and powerful but not to be compared with a moster, it’s comparable to a 130cc class engine or a nitro 200 engine for power but much smoother & nicer engine quality - for example look at the CNC engine cases as a standard compared to a lower quality casting found on some engines

    • @phDJOlogy
      @phDJOlogy Před 5 lety +1

      @@minyardmatt Thanks man! If the exhaust system doesn't need poked at as often as some others it sounds legit to me. Nitro 200 umph is decent especially if I lean up more.

    • @minyardmatt
      @minyardmatt  Před 5 lety +1

      Lou Serrano on this model the titanium frame is very solid and flat behind your back, nothing poking out to to hurt you, the bottom of the frame is very stiff and takes an impact extremely well, in testing & real life accidents the frame has passed every crash test you can imagine and held up very well. This is such a strong mix of titanium alloy which is why it’s one of the most popular paramotor brands in the world. You can come visit me anytime & drop mine as hard as you want on the concrete as many times as you like. It won’t hurt my feelings or my gear. I love heavy duty gear & that’s all I buy for my school!

      Matt Minyard Thanks for the reply and what is the difference between the maverick and zenith? Thanks

    • @minyardmatt
      @minyardmatt  Před 5 lety +2

      Glenn Mobley well the zenith has been around for awhile & is aircraft grade CNC aluminum - super strong & with a moster it’s about 65 Lbs, can be anodized any color & fits in a suitcase. The maverick is relatively new compared to the zenith, it’s parajet a latest creation & is also super strong but lighter weight with high grade titanium alloy so it is much lighter, ready to fly about 53 Lbs, has a custom painted hoop & swingarms anodized, it’s good for travel, but takes a duffle bag over a suitcase. Both units fly very nice, strong cage if you fall over, has anti torque, nice weight shifting attachment points for the wing. Totally high end machines & attention to detail is pretty remarkable on parajet & they are know to be high end & most people end up with a maverick these days because lightweight motors are easier to fly!

      the 150 can fly pilots up to 185 or 200 LBS depending on your altitude, our favorite engine by far is the moster 185 if you are looking for good power 7 super smooth you should have a 185 buff daddy!

    Is that the only size engine or can it be ordered with an 80 or 130? But I don't think the 150 will be too big for my 120 pound butt! Just faster launches on the elevator.

      Brian Creekmore this exact engine. Hmmmm yes it would get you up but it’s not the motor I recommend you get. The motor you want to fly is a moster 185, more thrust & totally reliable! This 150 is not as bullet proof & is not as powerful as the moster 185, so for you Brian you need a moster 185

      John Easley that was really sketchy & you just about ran into those people on the beach. The beaches get banned because of people who fly & train in populated areas & I also have to say if someone has to hold a trike in order to get the pilot up in the air, they probably should have trained a little bit more.
      Congrats on your flight, but you should be more careful that was pretty risky business

    • @johnhancockFenix
      @johnhancockFenix Před 5 lety

      I am still new and still training that was my first beach launch , my instructor Kyle was with me pulling my wing up in the 11 mph wind to be safe on the Trike in slightly higher winds at 1 pm , we were all launching that way towards those people and those people where all use to us launching over them and did not mind they said I had plenty of room before I even came near them although I did have to dodge that kite I thought I did good for my first beach flight, I am a inland flyer and I only have 16 flights with my old Green Eagle quad so far , that was my first flight in the two stroke Fenix Trike ,
      I had just bought it that day from Kyle with Power2Fly and he is now my Instructor and he said I did good , normally we only take off at the beach in a trike in winds of six or less so we were playing it safe by having him pull me forward to take off smoothly since it was my first time from the beach with a 42 m tandem wing! now that you know the details what do you think ?

    • @minyardmatt
      @minyardmatt  Před 5 lety

      @@johnhancockFenix i would probably downsize my wing when it gets windy, but personally if i cant manage to takeoff on my own i would practice ground kiting more before hooking up to fly!
