- We arrive at the Mesa Verde RV Resort. Experience our first balloon ride at the Cortez Colorado Balloon Rally. Cortez was a short drive down the road from the resort. We also visit Mesa Verde National Park and hike "The Step House' and "Park Point" two must-see sites.

We've stayed at the Mesa Verde RV Park. Mancos is awesome. That's where we stayed when we visited our friends. We don't have a WeeBoost, but we keep talking about possibly getting one. Love the National Park. All the spots you visited in the NP brought back great memories. Would have loved to have been there during the Cortez Balloon Rally. It's cool that you guys got to be part of a crew. Yes, to the ride. That is awesome. We've always wanted to do that.
Not a ton of amenities but very well kept. The shower house was spotless. There's always next year. You guys should try to make it happen. An amazing experience to say the least! Take care and safe travels.

We love that area and normally stay in Cortez at the Mountain View RV Park just outside of town. In fact I think we will return next summer for a while. Looks like you are enjoying yourselves.

I could see Ancient Cedars Park on the right as you drove to the Mesa Verde entrance. Wish we had met before we were both leaving.

The WiiBoost was great when we had a stable home, but our understanding from talking to people is that it's like the pet wave or the king Wi-Fi. It's useless. Since you have starlink do you still need dish or can you access dish through starlink? I was just curious? Hey Tucker you look good Chris. You look good also. I love Tucker looking over your shoulder. That was so cute wow! That trail is incredible. I can't believe it takes you back for that. That's amazing. Katrina, I love your hair! It is so long and I love the two tones. It's beautiful. So you just went out there and found someone to see if you could help them. Is that how it worked? And then they took you guys up no charge. That is incredible.
We've never used the dish. The original owners had it installed and used it. Tucker just loves his Dad! Thank you. I've had the same person cut and color my hair for the past 10 years. Next week I'm having someone in CO cut and color it. I'm so nervous! Fingers crossed!! That's exactly how the whole balloon thing happened. We are truly blessed!
Mesa Verde looks like a great place and how about that, Willie Nelson was your tour guide. :-)

U really need to check out Priest Gulch RV park. 30~33 miles north of Cortez. About 40 miles South of telluride.mile maker 35 on highway 145. I think from Cortez.

Hey Katrina, one question: I just noticed that your tow car is a Jeep Liberty. I went to see one for our RV but I found it quite heavy and we went for a Ford Escape instead. What is your opinion?
Hey Jaime! A Jeep Liberty would not have been our first choice but we already had it and figured we'd use it until we couldn't anymore. I think you made a great choice with the lighter weight vehicle. With all that being said this is my 5th jeep over the years starting in my teens. LOVE a jeep!
I see; well, Liberty has a good look but it wasn’t for us. We took delivery of our new to us Escape and I’ve ordered the tow bar so we have lots of work to do while the purchase of the RV is being finalized.
