@@seph__ Yeah, my point is they both have the same value. Nothing. Ones made by the government one's not both of them have the same exact value. Because they're just f****** cotton, they have literal, no value, it's pretend value
Most people wont attempt to glitter markings either because it would be extremely difficult to replicate. Check the bell, check the 100 on the right hand side.
Something I learned from a white-collar crime unit detective is to just rub the money on a blank piece of paper. If it's real, the blank paper will get the color of the note on it. If it's fake, there will be no color rubbing off on the paper. It works better than lights or toothpicks.
I used to ask my customers if they wanted to see a magic trick. When they would pay with newer 100 dollar bills. They'd say "sure?" Then I'd pull out a paper clip and do this. It would blow their mind like the guy recording here. And I'd explain to them. Fake bills won't be able to do this
Hey man, you know a ton about coins and bills. I have some old money, from different countries when I Google it I can't find anything. I wasn't sure if you could point me in the right direction about seeing it's value or know anything about it yourself.
Honestly, who is going to remember to look for all these little things to see if its fakr? Or has a safety pin to do that? People...just look for the blue and red fibers. Ok, bye.
Ok I have already made a comment on this before because I thought it was bologna. Only because I got my 100 dollar bills from the bank and I can put a toothpick or paper clip under those strips. I have also spent them so I assumed they were legit. I gotta say if the bank is issuing me counterfeit paper money that just hurts 😢
I think this video is messing with people. The Walgreens employee is wrong not right. Listen to the guy speak. He said she's "right" but then says if you can't place a toothpick or paperclip under the center 1776. Then it's fake. Which is correct. If you CANT do it then it's fake and only printed. This feature is to represent the constitution paper. That's why it's the way it is. And so hard to duplicate cheap. So the Walgreens employee is wrong and it's a real bill.i has this happen to me. We waited for the cops to show up. They even were a bit puzzled. So we waited for I guess an expert to explain it. He came in the next day and showed me that tooth pick trick. If it does go under it's real. That's why the guy asked for the pen test. In most places if you try to pay with counterfeit bills. The store can take your money and give it to police for destruction and you might get reimbursed in 6-8 months. I haven't seen any get their money back.
Wait how the hell do you have a fake 100 bill for you test that security feature? And how and where will you be able to erase that fake bill you have? I'm too poor to have 100s but I'm just saying. Wait is that fake 100 worth anyone and should we be looking and collecting these? Lol😅
Wait a minute, she put the toothpick through and said it was fake, and after the expert says if a paper clip/toothpick goes through, it’s real. Which one is it???
I have a question write on the left hand side. There is a symbol of a dollar bill symbol and is it that print? Just show up there on a $100 bill. Can you answer me and let me know if that? Symbol should be there and you can see it.Also on the reverse side of the bill. Can anybody let me know about that symbol
“You wouldn’t happen to have a pen on you would you” 😂😂☠️☠️
Can someone explain this? I don't get it.
@@hulahulahup Same here bro...
@@hulahulahupShe has like 20 pens on her neck.
@@wonglik95😮
I think he was wanting a pen test on it as well. But him zooming on the pens she had was too funny
You can also tell just buy the micro printing of the bill because they are very crisp in detail and the fake ones are not and they won’t be shiny
Just scratch the coat. Since US fiat currency is pressed, it creates a textured effect. Even the $1.
You don’t have a pen on you do you lol😂😂😂😂 first American humour and she didn’t pick it up😂😂😂❤
Why does it matter if they're real or fake, they're Both just worthless pieces of paper. Neither of them actually have any value.
because one of those "worthless" pieces of paper can be exchanged for prescriptions and housing and the other can not. not very hard!

Awesome information. Does the alphabet match apply to other bills as well.
On the 20s, you can actually rip the top of the bill and pull out the 20$ lable
The jacket of the president is also raised so it feels bumpy if scratched, these are basic knowledge for any retail person to know
Yep that printing is very hard to replicate by counterfeiters
The jacket of Ben Franklin you mean? The $100 has so many gre at features
That is some wild stuff . It's good to know what's going on with money now days. 😮😊
Comprehension skills are lacking in the comments

Damn I stand corrected. I was recently paid with fake money then. Son of gun!
Damn that sucks bro !
Well now they know😅
The number/ letter combo has to be the easiest security feature to beat!!
Ahh..good to know this information! ❤ Thank you❤
Its bs
I never knew they were made like that. I don't see 100s often 😂

Bills printed by the fed don't bleed Brother You got it backwards or something

So, this was true for a while, when they first started making them this way.
I’ve definitely had a fake one before then 💀
I have seen some pretty genuine fakes on the dark web some even being preshreds
That is one of many, there are plenty of others, the holographic bar itself shows
That is really cool and crazy
Interesting. Didn't know about the fifth letter thing ..huh
"Toothpick" sir i understand im autistic but thats a paperclip.

I have known about this since these first came out
Awesome good spot.
Teaching how to make better counterfeit. Noice

Too poor to even test it out myself 😅
The counterfeit and real bills are worth about the same now in this economy. 🙄

That is very good to know
what if u got a counterfeit from a machine from the bank
Too bad $100 isn’t much nowadays
Unless you know somebody who makes good counterfeits
That's not true at all. If so all of them are counter fit 😂

When did this feature start on the bills ?
Ive seen fakes with the same crap, counterfeiters have changed up their game so that test isn’t even accurate
Sad times... ... !!!
You are wrong.
Still not a 100%, I've seen some that have that . If you want to be a 100% you have to do multiple steps if you don't have a machine
Yeah but the E5 is easy to fake
Or an older series
Wait a minute, she put the toothpick through and said it was fake, and after the expert says if a paper clip/toothpick goes through, it’s real. Which one is it???
She said "if you CAN'T put a toothpick under there you've got a counterfeit."
