The politics of the "Official" World Golf Rankings guaranteed a diluted Olympic field.
If there was a way for the US olympic committee to intervene and determine a path for DeChambeau to leapfrog Cantlay and Morikawa for the final spot, that would be awesome.
The US team would have all 3 major champions on the team if Bryson could replace Morikawa or Clark (I would prefer Clark being replaced because it seems that Clark will say something in the media, then proceed to underperform. See: Ryder Cup).

I don't know how he can get so much trouble for joining a league for life changing sums that's funded by some people from a country that had some people involved with something 25 years ago. That league also seems to be way more progressive with its players compared to the PGA.

Brysons ability for last two shots on 18 were definetly chiseled by all the crazy challenges he has had in the last month , like shooting with kids clubs and hickory clubs. Also all the crazy challenges he does !!! I’m sure of it. He’s the complete package

What’s incredible was all the content this dude was pumping out leading up to majors this year… hickory set, junior pga set, Siri as his caddy, breaking 50 series, just an infectious love for the game and it shows, no man was more due for a big win, let’s gooooooooo best in the world!

Bryson had trouble hitting fairways but made countless all-world saves and up and downs. Clutch at the end. What a win.

Yeah, thar was Sunday but he won it the first 3 rounds, where he drove it like a machine. You will never have 4 great rounds, he managed to grind it out. Amazing effort.

My two favorite players were competing for the trophy today. I preferred Rory to win but I'm very happy for Bryson and obviously, really sad for Rory. He doesn't deserve any of this and all the nonsense people who never achieved anything are saying. The fifth will come; it's just a matter of time.

I wish i would of put money on it, bryson won and i called it. Amazing how they tried to slow course down so everyone had a chance to catch bryson. It didn't work though.
Did he win or did Rory lose it? Sham-Bo missed the fairway 90% of the day. . Rory missed two putts inside 3.5 feet! Bryson fell right back to the Narcissist, Self Absorbed, Self Promoting Bryson of old …. Didn’t listen to Terico’s questions, just went in to promote his Brand mode while accepting trophy, “Me and Payne”, wore the brim for a 30 sec photo op, got his LIV group in bleachers photo op, on and on … Now, it’s back to the LIV Saudi blood money … SHAM-BO, you’re no Payne Stewart…
