      If you do catch one please let it go.
      Octopus are super intelligent creatures.
      Humans should quit eating them. They are closer to dogs in their intelligence than cats are.

    If you troll? You can tie ur line to a bass diving crank bait w/out hooks. Tie heavy leader w/hook to the tail of the crank bait. Speed/depth adjustable. Keep in mind crank baits come in shallow/med/deep diving. This YOU SHOULD TRY.

    Steve when I was running boats in Sarasota my buddies father was from Italy and he made some of the best dip that I have ever had with octopus. Might want to try that one day. Great job man!!

    Ok Steve this is Susan in Huntsville and I was just watching one of your flounder videos and I'm telling you that flounder is my favorite ever fish. We fished for flounder in Goose Bayou in La. So catch a bunch of flounder so I can get some filets!! 😊

    When water conditions are that I went out ine 16' skif and slay bottom fishing. Always take advantage of gulf condition like this

    here in Australia Trigger fish are generally consider a pest fish that you dont want to catch but they are decent

    Nice Day on the Lake of Mexico! It's pretty rare to catch a day that flat, that far offshore. Didn't expect for you to catch a Octopus, You just never know what you might catch out there!

    If you hook your crab in and out through the leg sockets you can cast it without throwing it off and still have plenty of hook point exposed.. If you're using a good size hook..It stays on the hook well..

    no you do not need super heavy tackle. four years ago i landed a 7ft sailfish from my kayak on a penn battle 5k using a frozen cigar minnow.

Even had one guy say that anybody who says "pick your days" just doesn't have any experience and doesn't know what they're doing. What a moron... If you have a 17' Scout or a 42' Regulator, you ALWAYS check on the weather before you head out and anybody with *experience* knows that. Rant concluded :P
