    bhai one question, i want one whole wall for projection, and i made a home theatre room just for this thats why there is no sunlight entering the room, should i use the paint or buy some anti light fabric for whole 150 - 170 inch wall?

    • @vdxplorer
      @vdxplorer  Před 8 měsíci +1

      If there is no light, color can be done. But if you are creating seperate room for this, and if budget permits, go for ALR screens with gain of more than 1.5
      For econimical solution, I would still prefer reflective screen if viewing angle is not an issue purely because of clarity, contrast and brightness

      ALR screens have different types for different category of projection. Ceiling, front, short throw, Ultra short throw.
      Check if screen which you have bought is compatible for projection from ceiling.

    Instead of all these screen making can't we use plain normal white wall for projecting?

    • @acswain6720
      @acswain6720 Před rokem +1

      You won't be able to watch projections during daytime on a white/painted wall. Even diffused light is too much for regular/low cost projectors. These reflective material screens work on daytime by reflecting maximum of the light back in a straight line and the ambient light (bulbs, diffused sunlight etc) has lesser effect on the projected image. But, the biggest drawback is, as clearly said by the uploader himself, that the viewing angle is very narrow, within a small margin of 15-20 degrees both horizontally and vertically. Meaning, practically your head must be next to the projector. So not good for family and friends gathering enjoying videos in spaced out sitting arrangements. Good for one or two people sitting clumped together next to the projector on either side.
