I couldn’t believe that the Nets lost to a shorthanded 76ers team without their three starters. KD, Kyrie and Ben played and somehow let this slip. The Nets had a lead early on and I was like this was going to be a blowout but then I saw how much Philly keep it going and turn it on in the fourth quarter and got a W.

@@ashleyden he's positionless!! He's too soft to go against tough physical 4 or 5's and he can't shoot which makes him obsolete everywhere else. Half the time teams don't even bother guarding him. I'm a Philly fan and used to think he should of been playing the 5 but when they play teams that play physical at those positions he's gonna get bullied up and down the court. Come playoff time he probably won't want to even be on the court. You better believe teams are gonna make Simmons beat them and we know that's not happening. He's unplayable in the last 5 or 6 minutes in the 4th quarter in close games. You can get the same production from an undrafted free agent making the league minimum.

They shoudn't have had enough offensive firepower to let three players basically replace the 76ers trio and get an efficient 20 points each. I expected Tobias to do his thing but Melton and Reed just aren't consistently that good. Nets need to trade for some better defenders, there's no way they can lose that game and think they're beating a healthy 76ers, Bucks, or Celtics team
@@kennn30 well I agree with that. I think Melton is better than people think, and a problem for the sixers with Doc has always been their rotations. They have the talent to be very deep, it just hasn’t shown up as much as it should. But yeah the offensive fire power was not what it needs to be for the Nets if they are going to rely mainly on Ben for defense lol. I mean even Niang was eating them up in the paint. People who are hating on Ben for only putting up 11-11-7, where is that same energy for the “Future Hall Of Famer” Draymond Green who consistently puts up triple singles?
