- Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks punched their ticket to the Eastern Conference Finals after a 103-96 Game 7 win over Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers. Atlanta’s point guard had a cold shooting night, but he finished with 21 points as he put the finishing touches on Philly. Embiid scored 31, but it wasn’t enough as fellow All-Star Ben Simmons finished with just 5 points. The Sixers will now head into the offseason with doubt surrounding the roster. One guy is marketed as the "next Lebron" and is playing with another superstar, the other one flying under the radar and is surrounded by role players. No disrespect to Simmons i thought Mitchell was more valuable then and I think he's more valuable now.

Donovan's rookie season (2017-2018) he averaged 20.8 on 44% fg. Simmons averaged 15.8 on 55% fg. Simmons had the edge in rebs, asts, and defense. And the Sixers won more games. His award was deserved.

What's interesting though is that the game was tied up when Simmons went out late in the fourth, apart from Seth Curry, Embiid and Harris the rest of the team did nothing either. Dwight did nothing all series, hopeless. The Sixers also failed to switch up their offence and became predictable late down the stretch, which was made worse by Simmons not shooting either, so Doc is also to blame big time
