- I did keep my promise after all and I did say I was gonna play four hounds.....Oh hey look ma, I'm famous now
But in all seriousness, the reason why I waited on a long time on this is due to college and not to mention I'm trying to be more involved with this fangame by being a level designer for it (I'm even redesigning one of the levels show in this demo) and because I wanna make Ooze man's stage so badly!
I won't let my biased as a QnA tester set you apart as even I'm aware that this fangame is hard (Some might consider it..the...DARK SOULS OF MEGA MAN FANGAMES!!!!!)

Nice works! I'm not half as good but make some small stuff at a very slow pace of my own and this caught my eye. Looking forward to seeing the full thing! :D
Edit: I also admit I like how you cleverly
-added different boss themes to the Mavericks (Robot Masters sorry lol MMX habits),
-made the Plasma Spark(?) a variable weapon that changes depending on its energy levels which makes it very crafty!

Since the amazing Mega Man Unlimited.. MM Fangames became so good.

What engine is used to make these games, specially to program robot masters?
Four Hounds should make an SNES version of this, as a rom hack (after they've finished the game). That way, a patch file would be available for those who have an SNES emulator and the appropriate Mega Man rom.
After seeing the SAGE 23 Trailer. I'm giving this game a second chance and see how it improved

Sounded a lot closer to mega man 7's highway music (which tbf was kinda inspired by it anyway) but it even had the mad grinder as well

As I told you, Four Hounds is really hard game. Even I tried my best to complete the stage without dying of 3 Robot Masters. But, seriously Team Four Hounds must need to make some changes in terms of difficulties. Otherwise the game is Awesome. No argues against the game. I loved this game a lot. Just make some changes in terms of difficulties only.

Looks and sounds good but not gonna lie, all these dialogues feel useless and break the rhythm of the game in my opinion.
Personally I like that fans have decided to flesh out Bass as a hero though
