Love seeing homeowners with various backgrounds, Style etc. Her home is warm and attainable not overly styled and impractical. Busy mom, busy kids, busy pup and it looks lovely

I love how she has made her home a true expression of what is important to her. It's true that $ does NOT always mean quality! The hanging chair is amazing, I want one!
This woman is the most relatable person I have seen in your series. I kept wondering how she could talk into the camera so naturally! She has a great eye for decorating sensibly within a budget for a family. I am gob smacked over what she herself (!) did in the kitchen. I have watched videos of painting over formica and figured I'd make a mess of it. She did a FABULOUS job! I did not know you could paint tile floors. I also have a two toned kitchen floor, but did mine in inexpensive linoleum tiles. I love it too. How can she do this kind of home reno, have a full time job and bring up teen-aged children...and seem so relaxed??
I find a lot of people drone on, but this woman kept it interesting & natural. She should consider being a TV host! You go,, Nedra!!

The puppy stole my heart. Nothing pleases me more than when a rescue pet finds a forever home.
The house has beautiful bones with a lot of potential. I love the mix of odd pieces paired with pet and child friendly upholstery. This lady has her family and puppy a top priority in her design choices. Wonderful episode.

There are so many things about her home that I love, but the two things that I really liked were her swinging chair (awesome) and her sweater! I want to know where she got it. Love the bling. As soon as I saw the front door, I knew it was going to be good! It has beautiful design elements, while still being breathable. Also, what an awesome host! Loved listening to her talk about her home. ❤
Same. I saw the front door color, the kitchen cabinet color, and was drawn in. Her swinging chair looks so relaxing. But the photo of her son that she had done at Staples with the special process stole my heart. Great lady!!

i love how uncluttered and functional this space is, for a real family with kids and a dog (which btw is my favorite accessory!) but still stylish and fun. all the pieces are really thoughtfully curated to make her space look like her own, like it a lot. i love that bubble chandelier

Soothing yet still whimsical! Nedra made so many great choices, including the pops of wallpaper here and there. The engineering prints are a brilliant idea. In architecture school 30 years ago, we would run freehand graphite drawings as "blue line" or "brown (sepia) line" prints, then add pops of color with pastels or colored pencils. Now, I'm inspired!
I wasn't sure if I was going to watch this because of the title in the video - I'm not a big fan of "colorful" homes. But this home is actually so well done and relaxing and not super colorful at all - so glad I decided to watch it!
Title made no sense, unless they were referring to Nedra which is ridiculous. Her home colors were quite soothing actually. Her great choices in artwork had color.

yes a definite yes. i am about to furnish my house which burned down 14 months ago and is being reconstructed so i have been looking for ideas. i have watched probably a thousand of them. they are all very good but Nedra's style is so akin to mine - light, airy, unpretentious and welcoming. thanks for sharing i will use definitely the concept.
