Rest easy Jim, you'll be missed.
Thoughts and prayers are out to the entire Scoutten family and the crew at Shooting USA. Jim will be sorely missed.
Rest Easy Jim, thanks for entertaining us, and supporting the second amendment over the years. My condolences to his family and crew.
I will continue to watch Shooting USA on ODC. Jim will be missed but John is doing a great job of hosting!
I noticed John was hosting lately. But was unaware Jim had passed away. His voice will forever echo in my mind, and his on screne personality and skills, will surely be missed!
Rest in peace 🙏 Jim!
Thank you for the content Jim. We'll be missing ya!
RIP Mr. Jim. You will greatly missed. Thank you very much for all you done over the years. May GOD Bless your family during this difficult time.
I've listened to that Iconic voice for years, and loved it. I'll miss it. Great instructional video, as usual.
JIM you will always be remembered, thank you for making Shooting USA 🇺🇸 one of the Best shooting shows ever ( watching since year 2000 ) . See you one day in Heaven 🙌🏻.
You'll be sorely missed Mr. Scoutten. Shooting USA is in excellent hands and I'll continue to watch but it'll never be the same without you.
Jim is a National Treasure. I remember being a kid and hearing his voice talking shooting , hunting, and all related. The apple did not fall far from the tree. Thanks.
RIP and thanks for the all great shows and support for shooting sports over the years…
While many have or are currently in the process of expressing their condolences to the legend here and his family, I would like to say that although many respected him for his coverage on the firearms industry and shooting sports or enjoy the segments on historical rifles, Jim was affable as a host and although I never knew Jim personally, he was a part of my life growing up and his show was always the must-see on The Outdoor Channel, and he was even unofficially a role model and I think he helped shaped me in the man I am today.
The news of passing is hitting many in the firearms community hard and even I myself can't believe he's gone but I only hope that he is remembered for the man he was and his presence as well as his perspective will be missed.
Rest well Jim.
I didn't know Jim had passed away. He will be sorely missed. John has some big shoes to fill, but has already taken on the torch of Freedom for American sportsman!
And as you said... We will try to "Shoot safe, Shoot often, and Keep them in the 10 Ring"!
RIP Jim regards from the UK
I am saddened the passing of a legendary, iconic personality in the guns industry, Jim Scoutten. Gone but not forgotten. RIP🙏
Mr. JC we all miss you. Thank you for your contributions to our constitutional rights, especially the second amendment. To the family, John sorry for your loss.
God Bless you.
From
Puerto Rico, we are with you.
Rest easy Jim...
We will miss you...
If you run a Glock and have worn out a magazine catch spring practicing this drill, you should now have mastered reloading with retention. Semper Fi.
I ve just subscribed. Great stories of Jim who as heard- passsed. Condolences to his family.
I want to comment this very professional Colt preshooter. He all does great. We with my friends (Europe) are also big fans of 1911, for sure. But always have some fun how better guys than we, seriously comment their results on ... 3-4 m distance😅. I know this comes from different purposes of gun usage. In USA for selfdefence, in Eur for sport. We used to shoot with our 1911s at distance like 10, 15, 25 m and then deliberate how accurate it was. But ok. Never ever will equal 1911.
Regards and respect
ripthank you for all you did
Is that a picture of Regan in the background? The same Regan that gave us the 1986 machine gun ban????
You will be missed
RIP Jim
RIP
Anyone know what took him?
Все так могут.
