I was building a city it took me 19 to 30 minutes to make one building you saved me allot of time thanks you're a legend.
After watching more tutorials than I can count, this is probably the best building add-on I've found. Of course in all that time I could have built dozens of my own buildings, but come on
Cool video! Probably won’t use because I am not great at uv mappings/texturing but I will recommend this to my friends.

I know very little about Blender but I want to create some buildings fairly easy for a 3D world in either Unity or Unreal. I'm hoping that the texturing has a few more options than just 1 texture. Any help to this newb is appreciated.

Go into wireframe, select all and then separate by loose parts, that helps me heaps with texturing

i don't know how to texture stuff yet in blender, im planning to color and materialize it on studio the problem is how am i gonna paint and materialize it if its one whole mesh, do i have to really manualy select each part i want to be seperated as?? , its gonna take a long time :(,please reply if you know how to help
Idk if you are still having a problem or so something Rn since it has been 3 months.
Personally, I would recommend you to learn how to put colour/texture on blender. There is a very similar colour/texture properties system like the roblox studio one so I think you should be fine.

You can separate them into separate objects by clicking P

there's a server called rodev and there's a sell creations make the building put it in roblox say no interior just exterior

Does version matter?? I added this add-on last night and it only does the floor plan, no other buttons work/do anything. Can't add floors, doors, windows etc. 😢

Hey, RoBuilder. I have question: Is there any setting in R - Studio that will all new generated parts move into workspace folder?
Because when I insert new part it put's it in folder of other parts....
There is no setting in Roblox Studio that will take new parts and tap it into Workspace when you are creating a new part when tapped within a folder, to resolve this you would have to simply drag them out.

I made a 15 stories high palace and when I placed 14 balcony and tried to scale them all togher my pc decided to stop existing

It is hollow. You need to manually do interiors. Then you'd have to use something like solidify+bool or just modelling rooms and fitting them inside. This is mostly for quick bg building modelling. If you need a whole bunch of stuff for your scene - this addon is perect.

so are they texutred when you export them?
You have to make the texture separately when exporting to roblox. Then save the texture as a separate image of some sort and add that onto your meshes' texture id on roblox studio.

same so i found a solution
press n then select the thing you want to texture in the material tools section then press select button then press p then seperate by loose parts then export it by fbx :)

Export it as an OBJ in Blender and then import it as a Meshpart in Studio.
