Kate Hoare, together with her husband Kevin, is a dairy farmer at Trenance Farm in Southeast Cornwall. The couple has introduced a new model for sustainable farming, installing a biomethane-capturing slurry lagoon that can produce gas that can be reutilized for their work, fueling their #NewHolland #T6 #Methane Power tractor. This solution can reduce the impact of their activity, and it is considered a pilot experience for many other farms and one of the first examples of the Energy Independent Farm model.
