Game changer right here for the obliques. Thanks coaches!
Great video. One queue I like to use is telling clients to not use their arms but thinking of twisting their torso only. Cause oftentimes people feel it in their arms when done incorrectly
This has become one of my favourite movements lately. Nice demo Josh.
Thanks Scotty 😎
Now I know how to do the exercise right after watching the video. Great information I needed to target my obliques correctly.
Thank god you made this video guys, I really didn't know how to activate oblique with this exercise, I hope I can fix the problem with this video, thanks a lot
Yeah, a lot of people really struggle so I am happy that this helps
It's like you read my mind, I've been looking for ways to hit the obliques
That's why we're here :)
whats the difference between high to low vs low to high ?
What is the difference between the high and the low position?
NICE 👍 IM GOING TO HIT THIS MOVE AT THE GYM TODAY! You look great bro! 🫶🏾💪
Wow this exercise turned out to be so complex. But you explain it nicely so it's all understood. Thanks
ive actually surprisingly never tried this one, only Russian Twists. going to give it a go tomorrow in the gym!
Still doing these?
Time to go chopped it up …
Thanks …nice thorough explanation
Interesting, I’ll have to play around with foot positioning. I usually keep mine squared in front of me like a golfer. Also switching hand grip at the bottom position like you did the top seems to give me more motion.
it´s like the only reasonable video i could find to this exercise, thank you !!!
Thank you so much. The best explanation of these exercises.
Glad we could help, thanks Ariez
What a good-looking, physically fit hunk!
Appreciate you!

I love this exercise and thanks great video here best abs workout great for core
Always feels awkward when I do these, but defo will follow this demonstration thanks😬
Love that POV shadow joke. Surprised you kept it together.
Hidden talent 😂
Shirts are coming off, shirts are going on, people are changing, what's going ONNNN?!?!?!
😂 😂 Gotta mix it up
You are focusing on the one thing you shouldn’t be focusing on …
Thanks for this thorough explanation!Just saw a demo of the cable set at hip height. Ok to incorporate all three (high, mid, & low), or would that be overkill?
Thanks for stopping by! You could definitely incorporate all of them, it depends on your goals.
This man is more and more gorgeous every time I see him! 👌🏽🔥🔥🔥💯
Very good demonstration and well explained
Glad you found it helpful Peter :) Thanks for leaving a comment
Getting after this today.
Do you need to do both sides
Do we do this each side or jst one side hits both side of obliques?
Each side!
Literally the Best video to do woodchopers correctly.
Is it normal to bend forward a bit or do you have to keep a straight posture?
I do this exercise alert all exercises.
Superb explanation
Glad I could help Ajaz! Thanks for leaving a comment
Didn't know that I was doing this wrong the whole time!
thanks brother
If I feel pain in my shoulders and elbows, can I set the cable to shoulder height and bend my elbow?
is one angle better than the other? (low to high vs high to low woodchops)
They just engage different areas of your obliques.
which is better for seratus?@@ColossusFitness
Nice video
Are you supposed to do it from both side? I’m confused I’m new and can’t find anyone that says you do it on both sides
Extrenly descriptive ty
Great instruction, thanks a lot :)
How are your ab workouts now after your inguinal hernia? I go in for surgery on Friday.
Getting better! Good luck
Can you show you leg stance though out the movement.
Or landmine twist, but on those you gotta be careful don’t lift heavy or to heavy on those.
That entire explanation needed to be about 15 seconds. But thanks for the mini series.
great video bud, should have waited till those useless jabber boxes in the background pissed off
Will this help me lose stomach fat?
no. only burning calories can. It csn make your abs more visible once you do lose fat though
Lol
Not directly, but when you're in a deficit for a long time it will help bring out the abdominal muscles to have a smaller waist.
Nice title
Went out earlier than it was supposed to :(
Excelente
Thanks Gabriel!
So we have to keep both arms straight?!
The main point of the exercise is the rotation in your midsection to engage your obliques. If you're pulling with your arms, you're not moving the weight with your obliques. You wanna focus primarily on the rotation while keeping your arms as motionless as possible. Just moving the weight with the rotation of your midsection
Hard to proper positioning if the camera is all the way close
2:00
What about ur feet placement? Ur video only has ur torso up
Cable side twist are better, well least for me, it’s more easier and I feel it more
Get to it! Thanks for leaving a comment Mark
Nice video, but dude, not once do we see where your legs are positioned
Pull the canera back
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.
John 3:36
For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Romans 6:23
Jesus Christ is the only way, seek Him while He may be found, before it’s too late, tomorrow is never promised.
I cant see your obliques sooo dont teach me
