  • Welcome to London Underground Bakerloo Line September 2014. The Bakerloo Line runs between Harrow and Wealdstone and Elephant & Castle with 7 car of 1972 Tube Stock the oldest deep level tube running on the London Underground Network.
    Lets start at Kenton along the West Coast Mainline see 3551 arriving for the service to Harrow and Wealdstone and next is to depart number 3234 for the service to Elephant and Castle. Filmed on the 28th September.
    South Kenton Footbridge see the 1972 tube stock running alongside the West Coast Mainline the first to pass is 3540 to Harrow and Weladstone, next is 3299 towards Elephant and Castle, next to come is 3544 to Harrow and Wealdstone, next is 3246 Elephant and Castle and 3555 towards Harrow and Wealdstone. Filmed on the 28th September.
    South Kenton Station at night see 3540 arriving and departing service to Harrow and Wealdstone and next is 3239 departing for the service to Elephant and Castle. Filmed on 27th September.
    North Wembley see 3255 arriving for the service to Elephant and Castle. Filmed on the 28th September.
    Stonebridge Park see the London Overground Class 378 departing to Watford Junction and coming for the sidings is 3258 for the service to Elephant and Castle. Filmed on the 28th September.
    Kilburn Park see a arrival of number 3541 for the service to Queen's Park. Filmed on the 28th September.
    Warwick Avenue see the 1972 Tube Stock number 3554 arriving for the service to Queen's Park. Filmed on 27th September.
    Paddington station see 3562 ready to depart for the service to Queen's Park. Filmed on the 27th September.
    Regent's Park station with the arrival of 3232 coming to the station for the service to Elephant and Castle. Filmed on the 28th September.
    Piccadilly Circus see 3262 arriving for the service to Elephant and Castle. Filmed on the 28th September.
    Charing Cross station see 3248 arriving for the service to Elephant and Castle. Filmed on the 28th September.
    Now at Lambeth North station on the Southbound Platform with 3545 seen here going towards Queens Park running empty departing from the Elephant and Castle platform. Next on the Northbound Platform see 3551 arriving and departing for the service to Queen's Park and last is 3544 arriving into the platform for the service to Queen's Park. Filmed on 28th September.

    I understand that this line is to be extended from the Elephant and castle, can't remember where to though. Interesting footage :)

      52foxbat Thank you. Bakerloo line at the of the line at Elephant and Castle planning tunneled to Camberwell. Now just a end wall for the Bakerloo sidings for the overnight. TFL is planning to extended far as Lewisham and Bromley.

    The 1972 stock will be around till 2030. I like this stock, very old and basic and manually driven :)

      Tom Jardine Thank you. It is very nice old tube stock on the Bakerloo in still in use over 40 years and still keeps on running. I know I just seen it the TfL Website from 2020 new tube stock the first is the Piccadilly Line the driverless trains. It's like the Paris Metro on Line 1 and 14. Thank you for your kind comment.
