This video features a variety of trains at speed highlights on Britain's 'core' railway mainlines filmed in various locations from October 2020 to September 2021. All trains were observed to be roughly traveling in excess of 75MPH and in most cases over 100MPH and even as high as 125MPH, the maximum FULL speed of non-high speed routes!

Always fun to see Pendolinos at Speed. Love all the freight, I’m interested in it now. You caught Prideolino, Royal Mail, 91 at WGC, trains we saw last week on the channel at Hatfield. At Great Eastern I love seeing the class 745 flirt. Also saw 2 ex-Northern 321s that weren’t reliveried. On MML you caught HSTs!

We in L.A are getting a lot of our packages stolen from our slow moving freight trains, I'd like to see a thief trying to steal from the royal mail trains, those bad boys are moving. 😆

This is awesome. One moment we see the tilt of the pendos, the next the whoosh of a 91, next the blast of a meridian. Nice to see 390119 at Acton Bridge, the colours zooming through makes a great contrast to the greens and whites of the wcml. Also nice to see the Ic225 still speeding down the route it was made for, some 321 screams and 745 passes, and always nice to see a long freight train pass within a few moments at speed. Also nice to see we have some brilliant stations in the way including Hatfield peraval, Welwyn Garden city and Watford jn, among others. As much as we all hate the seats( even declassified first which I went in yesterday) the sound of a 700 rushing past at 100 never gets old. Also interesting to see that Hadley wood is BACK! Overall, great vid, heres to a great rest of 2021 and a greater 2022!

Can't get enough of this. My experience of seeing trains at speed at my local station is somewhat limited. I live near Edinburgh Waverley.
My local sees infrequent passing freight/railtour services, which even then only reach 50mph on the up/down skipping lines

I have 2 local stations One Has GWR 800s Cross Country 220/221s and On Sundays class 158/9 passing through all the time and the other Station Sometimes Class 800s Pass Through in the evenings. Can U guess?

You must be very proud of this complication! As @Ben G. says, is always funny to see Pendolinos and freight trains at speed! I think you've definitely rised above yourself with this 😉. Also, I can't imagine how scary would be when a train horns when you don't expect it, nice job!
I am Joel, I am extremely proud of all my videos because I feel that they all have strong points in some ways. I hope this will be viewed as the standard for my videos from now. The 745/755 horns are so loud. Very similar type to the Prototype APT-P. It certainly scared me! 😂

i saw those 90’s through Acton Bridge I think but there was a 350 in the way so I only managed to see it when it had left the platform

Easily done East Midlands HST! I don’t know how many hours I have filmed for but still to this day I’m scared by honks! I suppose you could say that they are good at their job 😃 The 745 at 20:40 got me good as well 😂

A timely reminder to fellow commuters of what an operating train service actually looks like. Thanks RMT for your continuing strike action, you are doing a fine job of slowly ruining the railway industry.
The strikes are showing what would happen if the government got their way. They offer rail staff a payrise at the same time as wanting to cut services regardless of demand and remove thousands of jobs. The implications of the strikes are terrible for our system of transport, but they're with good reason. I assure you, if the government get their way it'll be much worse.
Don't blame the workers, blame those at the top!
