Male rape just goes unreported usually due to the stigma around it. I think for most people male or females, you get a general sense that if a person is too out of it, you shouldn't take advantage. If a person is unconscious there's no way they could give the 'yes' to make it consensual for example.

i used to be guilty of this with friends and stuff, i really didn't do it intentionally but it was never like that guy did. really it was because i was genuinely insecure about myself and didn't think i was good enough for anyone's attention so i would use gifts and do lots of favors to seek out approval.
it was incredibly unhealthy and led to me crossing boundaries with people that ultimately resulting me losing lots of friends. I'm really glad that's i'm now very much aware as to why what i was doing is wrong, admittedly i miss my old friends a lot they meant the world to me but now i'll know to never behave the way i did in the past again, if i can help it. You just hope people will one day see the mistakes they make and try to change.
what i lose faith in is when people say "you need to change FOR ME" or "I don't need to change, i'm perfect". This shows clear contempt for trying to develop further as a person and try to improve yourself something i just don't have time for. Even when i was love bombing people by mistake i was genuinely trying to learn how to be a better person back then, i was just far more clueless.
Even the obvious stuff like "don't invade peoples privacy", "don't be a dick", "don't be clingy", "be nice but not too nice". it's all very obvious and it's said a lot by people but for those who genuinely don't *Get it* they really can't see that they're part of the problem unless it's aggressively pointed out to them.

The best thing about the first story is that even before I found out the girl explicitly told him no gifts and it's not a date, I thought $250 on a first date with someone you never actually met before is excessive and creepy. Even if I had good chemistry with someone and they looked like a model and they did that, it would be a huuuuuge red flag for a potential abusive relationship (love bombing).

Years ago when I worked in a cafe another colleague kept trying to come onto me. I repeatedly told her I was gay. She had seen my other half a number of times so she knew I was with him. It finally took me kissing him (yes we used tongues) for a couple minutes for her to finally get it. But even then she would sometimes still try it with me. Thankfully i don't see her anymore.
