I’m the same way with concerts. I love live music, but everything about the experience is a nightmare.
Yes, I thought about sectioning those off too. I also love live music but the whole event is usually too much. Only a few musical acts that might make it worthwhile. John Legend was one I saw that was so amazing live that the show was worth all the rest of the stress and headaches of the experience. Do you have any favorites?
Exactly 👍🏼 and when I’m at one of these events (rare) my anxiety is at a level whether high or low it’s constant.
Yes! That’s exactly true for me too. The anxiety at times might be low and manageable, but it’s still there. It’s always there for me in social situations.
Another masterpiece. And, as always, thank you for not forgetting to give us the low down on YOUR low down 🚽🧻when you are in these dysregulating, overwhelming sensory nightmare situations!
Gotta do it! Glad you appreciate it! 😂😂
Me too! I don’t like all the noise and people
I do the nose bleed seats, towards the exit, on the aisle. That way I can get up and go out to get some air. As for games, I have always sat with the marching band in high school and collage. I have not gone to a game live. I fear the crowd. I did go to a game after I finished collage, my Alma matar was playing USC, and unfortunately our seats, unplanned was right behind their band. They did not like me singing Triumph with ‘This is the only song we know, and we play it all the time! And it sucks!’ Their band director asked me to move seats when some trombonists got a bit upset with me. I moved to the other side of the stadium and sat with the band I used to play with. My father was not too happy because he felt we had better seats on the other side of the stadium. Have you been wearing an USC sweatshirt? I can do concerts because of being high up, i think it helps with the noise of the music. Do not know.
I like your strategy. Now that I’ve updated my glasses, I’m going to do the same whenever I go.
I hate loud noises I don’t like big crowds I hate getting push into me
For the area I live in its ok. Not toooo many people 😅
Nice! What kinds of sports do you like to watch?
