    If this is true about Kraft he’s a complete and total snake. You sell out the guy that boosted your franchise value 10x. He didn’t need to do all that he was gonna get into the hall of fame easily

      Uh no - what a horrifically bad take! Considering the crappiest org is probably worth 2-3billion, to give valuation to the head coach is laughable. Btw - that was breer’s conspiracy theory about the hof, you’re accepting his premise

      @@jbhatts610 breer is not the only person with this theory out there, I've heard it multiple times. Most of these documentaries come out years after their runs, not the year after the coach leaves. Kraft was the one pulling strings and he's credited for the production. Multiple players have came out and said that most of the positive things they had to say about Bill were cut from the show. As far as the value I'd say bill had a lot to do with as well as brady but bill drafted him and stuck with him over Bledsoe even Kraft himself said he let Bill run the show. For supposedly being about the most successful dynasty in football history, it was largely about shining a light on the negative side of bill. Wether it was a ploy to make the hof or not is debatable but it's not debatable that it was a smear campaign.

    Belichick on McAfee’s draft spectacular is going to dominate NFL Network’s and ESPCNN’s draft coverage. He did 40min yesterday on McAfee and it was a goldmine. Now we get him for 5 hours breaking down every player. Can’t wait. Love Joel Klatt, but gonna have to watch McAfee, also they have the picks 15minutes before everyone else because they are on X during the show.

    I think Belichick didn't get a gig mostly because be wanted head coach and general manager responsibilities. Most owners won't want to centralize that much power in one man, especially one that is in his 70s. Many owners do want to play a role, sometimes even a big role, in their team. That would be an issue with Belichick. He's too good of a coach to not get another shot. Perhaps he has to budge a little on his demands. I look forward to watching him on the telestrater.

    The Pats were left with a terrible roster under his watch. The Patricia & Brady being co-OC’s was a debacle that everyone saw coming. They won 3 games last year. The reasons the Pats let him go are the same reasons that teams didn’t want him. He’s still a great DC, but he wouldn’t accept just being over the defense.

    Are we over-thinking this? Bill oversaw a team on a steep decline over the past 5 years. Sure he used to be great. People change. Look at his record in recent years. Flashes of the old brilliance at times, sure. But consistent team decline across the board while he's the man in charge? Sadly, yes.

    On what merits does JJ McCarthy skyrocket up to: teams willing to pay a “kings ransom” to move up to fourth to draft him? Michael Penix Jr. has the tape which is amazing, rocket arm, best deep ball touch and accuracy in the nation. Tested at the combine and did well there. Pro day he showed the easy flick and he can really spin it, as they say.
    He was in the championship game, so he’s a “winner,” Michigan had better players all over the field than Washington. QB & WR the only places Washington matched up. So how, I beg you, is McCarthy so much better than P Jr.? Age? I don’t get it.

    • @chrxsprod

  • @TheMattTrakker
    @TheMattTrakker Před 15 dny +4

    How does Bill going to a new roster and winning with it make Robert Kraft look like the problem? The reason NE sucks is because Bill Belichek fked up the roster for years. Jumping ship to a roster someone else constructed doesn't change that perception.

    • @scottrowlandrowland1098
      @scottrowlandrowland1098 Před 14 dny

      So if bill went to a team like Dallas who most people agree have a good roster, but cant win in the playoffs and won a superbowl that wouldn't prove anything? No coach including Andy reid can be the head coach and gm anymore, bill had so many executives and scouts poached over the years that it finally caught up with him. Tom brady went to a stacked roster and everyone credits him for his last superbowl. It's amazing to me how many people have turned on bill after the guy dominated the league for 20 years.

  • @theragingdolphinsmaniac4696

    Every "greatest coach of all time" is eventually shown the door if they stay too long. Lombardi, Landry, Shula and now Belichick. Nobody is going to hire him because the clock is against him, and father time is undefeated. It will take 3 or 4 years to install his system and get his coaches and players in place, and the reality is that's all the time he has left to coach under ideal circumstances.

  • @HarrisonHollers
    @HarrisonHollers Před 15 dny

    If the Jets have a bad year, Belichick has to take the HC job for a 3rd time there and lead the Jets to the Super Bowl.

  • @nolongerblocked6210
    @nolongerblocked6210 Před 14 dny +3

    Belichick is a great X's & O's guy, no question, but his demand that he runs the draft & free agent side of the team is _THE_ sticking point imo. He literally destroyed the Pats roster the last 4-5yrs & it'll take the next 4-5yrs to fix that roster, that's what makes teams scared to turn their operations completely over to him
