Pierce is going head up with Super Bowl coaches Reid, Payton and Harbaugh. Trying to rebuild in a division where the champ resides and your other 2 are restructuring means you need to stack up your picks

Trevor says you can teach accuracy but I’ve heard from people in and around the NFL that you can’t teach accuracy.
He's speaking to accuracy that results from poor throwing mechanics, fwiw. Not sure how "accurate" that statement is, however.
yeah Maye's stock is falling because teams think he needs to be coached up... it's not that surprising.
Caleb goes #1 to Chicago, and everything after that is negotiable. Round 1 is going to be fun.

I think the top 3 QBs in this draft class are strong, and I like McCarthy somewhat as well …. but Jayden Daniels will be the best NFL QB from this draft IF he can stay healthy

Vikings are trading up for JJ with the chargers
I liken Drake Maye to Phillip Rivers. Rivers in college was lean and moved well. He caught td passes. He commanded his offense like a cyborg leader. He was the man! The size is similar. The completion % is similar. Rivers played more football but if you prorate both guys stats they are eerily similar. Rivers got you to the sky in the NFL but he didnt get you to heaven. It may have been his deficiencies, his supporting cast or maybe it was simply Tom Brady being in his way to get to a Superbowl so when it comes to Maye you have to decide = does he bring enough to the table to be THE GUY. Can he beat Patrick Mahomes? He's got the measurables. He's got the experience. Does he have what's between the ears to be a champion?
I dont agree that Daniels just rose up the board wildly like JJ did. Also Maye will be a a good qb in the league i think but when you miss a lot of layups there are going ro be questions
I mean before this season he was a 4th round pick and even when the season ended people still had Maye at QB2.

So, everyone except the PFF guy has Maye third and he also thinks there's a debate about Daniels or McCarthy at 3rd best QB. That cinches it for me, I'm definitely not wanting Maye

Always trade back to accumulate extra picks, you know, the Belichick method. Just make better picks. Oh, and don't pretend to be smarter than your scouts. Plan B, draft Marvin Harrison and draft Jalen Milroe next year.
Not sure if I'd hold Belichick up as the shining beacon of drafting. At least not when he was on the back nine of his Patriots tenure, his drafting then was atrocious

All this puff & smoke for the QB doesn't matter if they have no one to throw the ball to. All this we just got to run the ball and control the line of scrimmage is out the door Tom proved that.
@@jdl619 Well I was thinking they can trade with Minnesota and if they like Nix or Penix, they can grab one of them and still get other talented guys throughout the draft. They’ll probably go qb though. But you see how bad it is for rookie quarterbacks who play in bad situations. It’s tough. You can get lucky and have a CJ Stroud, but that’s an anomaly. Excited to see what they do. If Washington wanted, they could absolutely leap into their rebuild with someone who loves Daniels. I think they go Daniels though.
Arizona got a really good QB give him a weapon one on the outside & just one that can play the middle of the field oh you be so hard to guard.
The Chargers shouldn't trade down in round one even if they get an extra late round 1 pick. If this new coaching staff believe what they're going to do & if they want the base to believe then they will never again have a top 5 pick. If that's the case then it's just ignorant to guve it up.

Chicago should of kept Fields and traded the 1st pick and got a massive haul. Every draft they build up these top guys and majority of the time they fail.
Jayden Daniels to Washington feels lazy. No GM selects a QB at 2 to fit his OC. Peters wants the younger sturdier guy with the cannon arm.

I'm so tired of hearing about quarterbacks. So uninteresting and overdone. I wish that most of these draft videos would just skip over the first few picks and the QBs and jump right into analyzing the top safties, corners, O-tackles, centers, and D-tackles. They are the positions that interest me the most, yet I hear relatively little about them.
Out the gate wasted time on quarterbacks at the top of the draft. NO DUH, it's gonna be three QBs at the top. WHO CARES who is 1, 2, and 3 - that's gonna be a pick of the teams and it will be based on the GMs preferences and interviews, not from highlight film. But we've gotta rehash this boring crap again and again and again because IT IS EASY.
