"He might get injured" Isn't a valid point. If steph curry is currently and has been shooting better since he started, then there's nothing else that really needs to be done. Also steph can shoot in any situation, spot up, off the dribble, defense, no defense... whatever. Ray's a spot up shooter.

@splateee Ray isn't just talking about what we would consider a classic jumpshot where the player clears the floor by a foot or two. What ray is talking about is getting consistent momentum from his legs. He's says if a shot is short or long it's never usually about how hard he threw it with his arms. On free throws, even though he doesn't leave the floor, training his body to make the small upward push consistently let's him shoot accurately.

@camdog2398 yes, the power comes from the legs cuz they are much stronger than arms. if you shoot with your arms too much, then they will get tired and your shot will be off towards the end of the game. if you watch any video on youtube about good basketball shooting form it will explain how to shoot with your legs.
