I can't believe they didn't put out a checklist when they launched the online portal, even if it is in testing. And that pop up in one of the forms is so misleading! Why Canana government made this system so tricky I dont get it. They really want people immigrant in this country? I had been struggle with this sponsorship process 6 months. I gain anger whenever encounter this process especially dealing with pdf form. They are so many anoying features during this process. For family sponsorship applications only The sponsor must download and complete these forms digitally sign, along with the principal applicant (PA) Application to Sponsor, Sponsorship Agreement and Undertaking [IMM 1344] (PDF, 478.72KB) Relationship Information and Sponsorship Evaluation Form [IMM 5532] (PDF, 2.21MB) If the principal applicant is a minor child (under 18 years old) their parent or legal guardian must sign the forms, and consent and declaration on their behalf.
Even though the instructions have changed, there are still applications getting rejected because they were not hand signed. They need to provide more clarification about digital signatures and specifically state that they will not reject digital signatures, otherwise it is a risk not to hand sign

1. Either one, doesn't matter. Who ever lists the email will be the one to receive communication. 2. If applicant does the process themselves, no rep required. 3. Dont know about that.

I am the sponsor (Canadian citizen), and want to sponsor my wife under Family Class sponsorship. We are married and both live outside Canada together and intend to return to Canada when her PR is approved. The biggest confusion we have is that it seems like we have to fill two applications: one by sponsor to sponsor the applicant and another is the pr application submitted by the applicant. First question we have is if there are different online platforms to do that? Second, are they two separate applications? 3. Since we are married and living together, cannot we do everything together and submit by using her account? I hope my questions make sense. Thanks a lot.
there is just one application you will send, the pr sponsorship application. has to be submitted through the PR online portal, through one account. So, just 1 application with all forms for spousal sponsorship for applicant and sponsor, not separate applications.

Uploading is your choice. how ever you prefer. i uploaded separate files. was easier for me. Just label them correctly so they can be identified easily.

I also submitted my spousal application without the signatures and I got it back as incomplete. I signed the forms and resubmitted the application but realized it later on that I was supposed to attach the letter I received in the email with my application. I think you will need to prove joint residence or cohabitation of some sort according to checklist 5533 section 7. So, documents showing proof of joint residence should be useful. double check the requirements on ircc page to be sure,.

Hi, if a cItizen is sponsoring her parent so do they still have to put UCI/Client ID? Actually the sponsor received citizenship in 2009 when everything was paper based so she does not know where to find the UCI number. Please could you help to answer?

The forms you mentioned are digital when applying ONLINE. So, you cant hand sign them. typing in the principal applicant's name at the end of application will take care of signature for digital forms.

First off all. I DONT SAY JUST THAT. I specifically point to individual PROGRAM/s for which electronic signatures ALONE are ok. Sponsorship programs are different Watch the video again, in its entirety! the reason you cant just electronically sign THOSE PDF forms is because the instructions are misleading in the forms, especially 1344, after validation(which is what i explained in extreme detail in the video) if you send those PDF forms without signature, your application WILL GET REJECTED. like mine did. and so many others who also thought what you did.

since your representative can log into your account because they created the account, they can fill up information for digital forms. as for the pdf forms, they can download the forms from ircc website and fill them up for you.

It should be printable. I printed and physically signed. 1344 cannot be digitally signed. Make sure printer connection is ok. And try again.

How the sponsor will sign the IMM 1344 form if they are applying online ? Its not allowing me to sign. The form is secured.
It won’t allow you to sign. That’s why I say PRINT out, SIGN, SCAN and upload in the video.
But I'm applying online . I have seen your other video. The confusion was about the signature of the sponsor not the principal applicant.

Hey, all the information abouts spousal sponorship is very well explained in here and I thank you for that. Quick question, about signing forms IMM1344 and IMM5322 my spouse is living in another country at the time of application I am confused how do me and my spouse get our hand signatures on it.
Shall I follow this squence or anything else: complete the form > validate it > print it > spouse sings it and scans it > emails the scanned form > I print it and then sign it????

Uploading is your choice. how ever you prefer. i uploaded separate files. was easier for me. Just label them correctly so they can be identified easily.

if applying online 0008 is digital. so, it doesn't require hand sign. for paper based, yes, sign it.

1. Some form said write name in English and native language but there is no space to write in native language. So how to fill the form online?
2.How to upload the photo instruction said one photo's backside need to write studio details.. Do we attach front and back together and upload? Or upload separately front and back ? Do we need to upload two photos (one photo front+ backside with studio details attached together and other photo just front side ) or just one photo ?

I think you will need to prove joint residence or cohabitation of some sort according to checklist 5533 section 7. So, documents showing proof of joint residence should be useful. double check the requirements on ircc page to be sure,.
As you said print the form and then sign and again scan. Can we sign the softcopy using the abode signature draw option or it is mandatory to sign on hardcopy and then sign.

The forms you mentioned are digital when applying ONLINE. So, you cant hand sign them. typing in the principal applicant's name at the end of application will take care of signature for digital forms.

First off all. I DONT SAY JUST THAT. I specifically point to individual PROGRAM/s for which electronic signatures ALONE are ok. Sponsorship programs are different

the reason you cant just electronically sign THOSE PDF forms is because the instructions are misleading in the forms, especially 1344, after validation(which is what i explained in extreme detail in the video)
if you send those PDF forms without signature, your application WILL GET REJECTED. like mine did. and so many others who also thought what you did.

since your representative can log into your account because they created the account, they can fill up information for digital forms. as for the pdf forms, they can download the forms from ircc website and fill them up for you.
Are there specific forms for dependent child. I am asking coz none of your videos talk about dependent child. Is imm1283 required for dependent child
How does this work if you have a authorized paid representative doing the application for you? Can the representative type your name for you?
