Let's be real in every Imperial Army someone with a skintight suit is going to have either big hair or a big gun
Or big yiddies
@@DouglasCarter69or they’re caked up 😂
@@Whoknows21356Nice.
Why can’t it be both?
*big guns
Really good video, I knew that model was taken a lot but not what it did, would a video about the current state of every assassin would be possible ?
I would love to run a Culexus assassin. I know they are pretty dang niche/bad but I always thought they were cool.
I literally was waiting for new video and boom there you are 😁
I started running her and Vindicary assassin with him, sitting up on a building, getting plunging fire and holding an objective, while she holding objective and complete secondary’s but I’m also running imperial nights so I’ll assassins are honorary nights in my eyes. How many times in medieval times in assassins help out Knight all the time.
Auspex putting out videos like he doesn't have very long to live
Would be a fantastic unit if it were at all attainable. I’ve been looking for one for months and the only options I have found are hilariously price-gouged. I wish GW would produce more of these so everyone who wanted to could run them without paying 5x MSRP.
Yeah trying to get any of the assassin's is a bitch I got lucky getting a vindicare alone.
Google "Cali Girl Assassin".
Yep been out of stock for ages, also Imperial henchman are also out of stock lol
There is a nice STL floating around
@@Gumby777friend asks for a hint about this stl
Love the channel auspex
For the Inquisitorial Agents it’s worth noting that the Plasma pistol does not explicitly replace the Acolyte Firearm, so they actually get both, and as both are pistols said agent can use both at once basically turning them into a squishy human cosplaying as Cypher. The eviscerator is the same, it does not replace any weapon , and there are no rules barring you from putting both items on the same henchman.
Difference with the eviscerator is that models can only use 1 of their melee weapons so it doesn't really matter. But ye the plasma pistol does also make sense considering the model that would have to plasma pistol also has a stub pistol
I will say about the Callidus when I played against her. She bounces hard off of anything besides light Infantry. Some one charged one of deep struck scions. They killed her in melee while taking no damage...😂
Yeah, I feel like the correct way to look at her is replace the "Assassin" in her name with "Operative". She is a clandestine operative skulking about behind enemy lines getting shit done. She won't be actually assassinating much of anything.
as an imperial guard player, i use scions for deep strike stuff, have enough units to park on objectives and cp altering we have at home aswell. i use a vindicare sniper.
Hello Auspex Tactics,
I think a units toughness is not understood in 10th and most people are playing like 9th ed where it is the majority of the unit toughness. Based on the Rules Commentary it says that it is the highest of the bodyguard unit if a leader is attached or just the highest toughness if no leader.
Just something I caught today, and seen generally around the different 40k boards.
Majority toughness isn't a thing in 10th. You always use the highest Toughness characteristic in the unit (that's currently alive), and you always use the bodyguard unit's Toughness, no matter what the Leader's is. Anyone saying different need to read the rules again, it's very simple.
Been rocking her as auto include since day 1 of 10th!
My GK are definitely grabbing that discount Callidus and im actually ending up with a fairly big Henchmen unit as it lets you fine tune the last 30 or so points out of your list after youve bought it by just jiggery pokerying the composition, it can cost 40,50, 60 or 70 points very easily if youve already rounded out your enhancements.
i ended up with 4 acolytes, a mystic, a plasma servitor and a daemonhost and honestly thats not a lack of beefy in a unit for 70 points
Just snagged one today for $25 USD. Some dude traded an unopened one in at a local shop and they raffled it off. Didnt have to pay unless you won. Really stoked as I've been looking for this for almost 10 months now.
I switched from Exaction Squad to Inq Hentchmen for minumim 70 points, which allows you to have the Mystic and its 12" Deepstrike Deny Bubble. For 10 points more they get a 5+ Inv, which comes in Handy.
Only if led by an Inquisitor-> so youre looking at an extra 70-90pts
Extra 55
Shhhhh, we don't want it being nerfed!
As a Flesh Tearer who has read multiple FT short stories including the Assassination of Gabriel Seth I could never bring myself to include any inquisition or imperium models.
The 2 wounds henchmen for 40 points is golden.
So out of curiosity. If it take Kurov's Aquila and a callidus assassin, is it possible to stack the 1CP debuff on the same battle tactic stratagem?
Yes.
As a Guard player I really hope so
Strategems with the new Rules commentary are only able to be modified once. You can also only gain one, no matter how much stacking
Brother Auspex, the apothecary demands you get some sleep 😂
wanted to get one but for some reason i cant find one anywhere
What about the eldar ? How powerful are they now ?
What about a 1000 points competitive list of SM ?
That’s a lot of polymorphine.
Hasn’t been available in aus for months
Still think that anything whit OC0 should not be able to do actions
After the point values changes, I nearly had enough to include an Exaction Squad and a Callidus.
So of course both were sold out every where I looked.
Silly tactical rock. Do I get pilleried of I remove it?
So are we saying Jokaero meta is back?
I've been trying to find one of those callidus assasins for ages :( Really want to get it before GW axes the model and replaces it with something bland.
How is anyone even getting the callidus? It's been out of stock on the webstore for 2 months
How goods it how they remove Forge World tanks cause its too hard to balance yet add all the Kill Teams....
Thank you auspex I just murdered my family and now I can destress
Here's to hoping someday Chaos forces can get an assassin so we can take out people's characters like Imperial armies.
We can dream 🥲
Reign of Confusion is ruined since it’s only battle tactic blocker. Good for objectives but rubbish for anything else.
So THIS is why I can’t buy the last assassin I don’t have.
Add a comment...
They are taking assassins because of poor internal index balance.
The exact same reason why imperials, and csm bring a freeblade/dreadblade along.
And to some extent exaction squads, and inquisitors.
What the Hell are you talking about
@@jamesloder8652 if any index has a deepstriking unit that had that statline and untility then you wouldnt need to take this assassin. If any index model had a unit with a knight statline and weapons profile, people wouldnt soup in a knight. If every index had a 35pt unit that cant be shot from outside of 12" they wouldnt bring exaction squads.
The existence of soup means the indices were poorly written for all of the armies thst soup.
@klassensj2 counter argument: that's the point of allies.
@@jamesloder8652 this is 40k. One army vs another. Not one army vs 5 other armies(titan, knight, agent, votann + your actual army) cobbled together because they make my army suck less.
@jamesloder8652 I'm with you on this one, it's no less one army vs another, gw could just as easily make every army have the exact same tools, but it would be boring and there wouldn't be variety, allies like knights or daemons or imperial agents allow players to have choice (generally a positive) without having every army look like a mirror of the others.
