How to Paint a Front Door : Quick and Easy Tutorial

Painting a front door can be a scary task, but a door makeover can make such a difference on the curb appeal of your home. This makeover can be done in one day, and I show you all my tips and tricks in this quick and simple step by step video. Follow along to the door makeover, and feel free to comment any questions you have after watching. AND.. be sure to watch out for my little friend I found squashed in the door ugh.

More details on what I did are below:
Steps for refinishing the door:
Cleaned with TSP
Wiped Down with Deglosser
Taped off the glass and Hardware
Sanded the door to create better adhesion
Wipe down after Sanding
Begin Painting with Detail Areas First
Follow steps given in Video for painting directions
Let each coat dry based on paint recommendations
(3 coats recommended)
Remove paint from glass or hardware (with windex and window/glass scraper
Let fully dry - if paint does not have built in sealant, then add sealant to protect
