- Hey Dancers, NEW Ballet Variation Tutorial for all levels. Today I will teach you four little swans variation form Sawn Lake. You will find this coordinated and confusing variation, not to be intimidating any longer. I divided the tutorial in two different parts so you can focus on one step at the time, without worrying too much of head movements. Right at the end you will find a reproduction of the variation with music, not perfect I have to accept but done with lots of love and had a great time recording it as well.

About Me:
My name is Yelena and I was born in the small town of Pinar Del Rio, Cuba
From the age of seven I moved to Havana and started at a boarding school studying with the National Ballet School of Cuba (A scary but exciting opportunity for me!).
I then spent the next decade learning and honing my skills as a ballerina. Skills which I would then use to turn myself into a professional touring ballerina touring around Cuba.
With limited opportunities in my own country, I then took the amazing leap to traveling abroad and was lucky enough to be sponsored by a company to work in a stage show in China of all places!
Since then I have continued to perform and travel, and most recently have begun teaching. I truly believe I have lots of ideas to share with you as well as a in-depth view of the cuban ballet methodology for ballet.
My aim is purely to help you learn and enrich your ballet technique and increase your love for dance! ❤️

Hello^^, I have a small recommendation, you could put the videos in a mirror mode to make it easier to learn the choreography, since you say for example "left foot" and in the video you see the right one, that can make learning the choreography a little difficult. Apart from that I really liked the video and it is very helpful for me, thank you very much!!!

Hi Kenzie, the video is not flipped so better follow my verbal instructions and do the movements in opposing directions to where I move 😅. The lates Variation tutorials are recorded in different way, so you just mirror the actions, but again only the two lates one if I’m not wrong. Apologies for the confusion.
