Echo Star plastic was literally THE best run of plastic that Innova ever made in my opinion. Can't find it anymore, and im paying like $50+ for echo star destroyers off of ebay.....

They do come out from time to time. Innova dropped a Jessica Weese Echo Star Destroyer last year that sat on my local stores shelves for months. I was able to snag several Echo Star Destroyer Factory 2nd's from the factory store shortly after that drop. Just gotta be patient and you can avoid those $50 ebay destroyers 😇 If they put out a tour series Echo Star Destroyer watch the F2 store a couple months later and you might get lucky

"help me fix my monthly budget, my family is dying $210 food, $800 rent, $2000 echo star destroyers, $50 phone, $80 internet"
Maybe don't buy $50 dollar echo star destroyers?
      "No"

Innova is releasing a lot more echo star discs nowadays. I bought echo star destroyers not too long ago. Just keep an eye on the factory store.

I think you nailed it here. I don't read too much into the stability of recycled (or baseline) discs straight out of the box. They will beat into a more understable flier eventually.
I don't really bag any and it's been mostly due to the fact that I either don't like the discs because it's more overstable than I though and don't care to throw it enough to beat it in or I like the flight but don't want to bag it because I know it will change its characteristics over time.
Probably should rethink that approach at some point, but that's the state of my bag today.

I got a trash panda putter as part of a tourney pack a bit ago. The plastic feels fine but it throws like shit (maybe cause of me idk)

This is why I like Trash Panda and Ocean. They are designing with recycled plastic from the ground up.

I love the idea of recycled plastic! Our world really needs to embrace this kind of hobby, where it makes recycled items mainstream. I have recycled lat64 gold fuse and explorer…and one is more understable and the other is just normal. 🤷‍♂️

I bag the first run inner core. It's just as neutral as it was brand new, with just a slightly prolonged drift and glide

I have to say, Heats and scorches have very big differences disc to disc. I've had heats that can't go over 200 feet in the air without becoming a roller and others I've had hyzer flip to straight 350 feet. Scorches are similar but some go the other way and are insanely stable. 0 turn. Love the videos but I think it would be great if you could compare parting lines on the discs too so we can see that too.

I’d like to see the premium plastic from several different companies tested to see which one is the most Overstable. Which plastics are “prime rib” and which ones are just “hamburger”?

Latitude 64's recycled is pretty similar to the gold plastic. Being used to Innova, I ordered a stack of different Explorers in a variety of plastics and they all fly more or less the same. I guess consistency and predictability are good for business, but it is kind of boring on the cosumer end.

Discraft may have also chosen beginner-friendly molds because they're selling recycled ESP discs for 30-40% less than most premium plastics and beginners are more price conscious.

I’m going to be a stickler here and say these companies that are making discs out of regrind plastic aren’t really making recycled discs.

I back a few recycled discs. I might try that zflx Buzz to see if it changes my mind on the Buzz. I know Doomsday Discs have a few that recycled.
