I've lost dozens of discs and have only ever had 2 returned to me :(
I have a holy grail in my collection. The first Get Freaky, literally the first. I was 1st in line at The Memorial for the Team Discraft Meet & Greet in 2020 (where the run of 100 black GF's were sold). Bob Julio had the clearish/white test stamp Zone that was used for that run there. Needless to say, Bob saw me eyeing it out and left it on the table for purchase. There was a limit of 1 GF to purchase. So I bought the test stamp GF of course! 1st disc that stamp plate touched. So like I mentioned earlier....literally the 1st Get Freaky.
Now that Gannon is with Discmania i bet the tilt comes back because its like a shorter flying X1

I bag the 4 claw zone and buzzz... I also have 4 backups of each chilling on the shelf. Bought them when they first released when discs were just discs and not collector's items. I"m completely aware that I have over $1,000 worth of 4 claw plastic colleting dust, but I love throwing them so much I'd rather keep them as backup throwers. That is the reason I bought them in the first place.
My favorite disc is the roc. Idk the true value but in my eyes it’s the most valuable. Not brand new I’d say 8.5/10 for being thrown a few times. 11x white KC roc with purple stamp signed by barsby with PDGA numbers

My number one valued discs are also my favorite throwers. Tough to collect when I love throwing them. I’m not sure what the market is now, but first run Aura and Ethos (and the Ethereal a bit) Mantras from Thought Space have crazy value. I sold an Aura for $220! I couldn’t believe it and even felt a little bad. I accepted the money though, so…🤷♂️.
Wait a minute. I remember drinking and being on ebay. How bad do you feel lol? JK, yes first run Mantras in new condition are very hard to find. Even throwers.
I used to have an april jewels p‐line md3 with a night strike stamp. Only 25 of those were ever made. Wonder how much it would bring brand new 😅

I have the same run of tilt hanging up on my wall never thrown. Fingers crossed it will be worth something one day
Me too! I have a couple of those Finnish Tilts. I just put one on the shelf for throwing, but I’ll always have one in a baggie…just in case!

I had so many Innova made DM discs. Sold all of them when the market got crazy a couple years back. Now I’m a trilogy fanboy for life! Love my herd of KT graces 😎

Wow, I think I need to look into some disc collection groups. I have almost every McBeth 4& 5 claws! I even have the McAviar with the 3 straight world title wins signed by McBeth! I wonder what they are worth????
May or not be one of those crazy pathfinder people. That Maine States stamp with BSR Bob on it should fetch 100-200 depending on its condition. Possibly more?
I had a collection of over 200 wall hangers and lost everything in a garage fire. I can’t bring myself to start collecting again, I just throw everything now.
Fortunate to have a KJ Nybo swirly star TeeBird in great condition. Probably my most expensive disc, but I have a stack of Hornets that are my favorites and in the special category.
Do the shoes run big,small, or pretty similar to your normal size shoes that you wear?
I have an orange ns2 that I got for $50. I think my most expensive disc is either my 11x champ teebird or my brinster teebird.

Maybe recommend all BUT NOT the Double Steady from Clash until we know how bad they split with wear, since they are pretty expensive. Compared to a dented disc a slight split between materials is way worse :S They look nice ofc!

That’s true double steady seems sketchy! And I’m sure it does! Lol
I tried the double steady Wild Honey that a guy I met on the course had, and it had big splits in the overmold seams and was very uncomfortable as a result. Definitely a failed experiment! The rest of their plastic though…fabulous!

@@nighthawk42069 Had them four about 3 months! I have also heard mixed reviews, I've had no problems so far though. Im also a little bias, im willing to sacrifice a lot to get those toe guards lol
to each his own, but paying anymore than 15-20 bucks for a thrower seems idiotic to me. if you collect them for wall hangers go for it i guess
