Hey!! I’m using family guard cleaner and disinfectant right now, and I’m LOVING it! I use it at home and in my classroom at school, and it does such a good job for daily cleans. I’ve been using it since my son came home from the NICU, and we’ve been able to keep him really really healthy. He hasn’t gotten sick at all yet! It’s family and pet safe, so worth it!
Red is iron. You have high iron in your water. We use Limeaway and it works great.

There is a type of mildew that is red as well. As easily as it came up, I’m thinking that might be a possibility too.
Ashley, I remember when I had a beautiful garden. We'd occasionally have ants. I use the hot water and dish soap method, making sure to get the whole bed covered. I'd rinse the soap out afterward.

I want to share my experience: my socks are always missing, the washing machine steals them))))) I put all the unpaired socks in a separate basket and check for a couple of times a month. those socks that did not find a pair can be used to wash the rollers from the doors, or blinds, and then throw them away.🤣this saves me paper towels, and the fabric is soft, it is very convenient to collect dirt on them.🤗

Red in the corners of the bath/shower is hard water
Ashley you should get that angry mama thing to place in your microwave ( I have one works great) you fill it up with water and vinegar place it in the microwave and 7 minutes later it gets the stains off the walls of the microwave. They have them maybe at Walmart or Amazon
I’ve always just used a bowl of water.
Also, you could make up a recipe of equal parts of baking soda and dawn and make it into like a paste almost the consistency of pudding but not that thick and put it on those things stains in your tub. And see if that works.
Great motivation, i also rent the house im at but is a family home, but me and my family tried to keep as nice as possible we do what we can even though we rent it only, and because we like to live nice and comfortable and no matter what is the home you live at doesn't matter if you rented so i really like how you guys take care of it 😊i also feel the mom guilt because even if i wake up early to clean the house my toddler gets up too and sometimes she plays with her toys but at the same time she wants me to pick her up and I can't finish anymore 😊 but is okay because they grow so fast just like my oldest sometimes i don't see her because school and work and when we have a chance our conversations are long lol
Ashley, you can order the off brand of Mr clean sponges and they have the cuts to clean window sills and door ways. Save the paper towels.

I don't have one particular Cleaning product but I love Fabuloso The purple kind and the lemon mix together are fabulous. And I love Mrs. Meyer products and method products. Just my favorites and lemon pine sol

The red stuff in your bathtub is red mold, it’s common in wet areas. I will get it under the different bottles in the shower.❤❤❤

Usually renters insurance is just for items stolen inside the place. Nothing to do with wear and tear on the property amenities, building, or structure. That is why dishwasher, doors, showers, plumbing or anything like that is not typically covered. You might want to read the paperwork you signed very closely. Also property management is different then say a building handyman. Also most companies are not at all required to keep you informed of each step or how much something is going to cost. Anytime you talk to them about a repair ask how much it will cost for you and do you get to choose products. If you do not have to have renters insurance thru them, can you chose your own company?
Why are they making you pay for things that break in their house?! Does this mean that if any other thing breaks for no apparent reason or just because, you guys are on the hook for it? Sounds like an expensive place to live!!! Plus why do they feel that you have to pay for a new door that probably is years old. At this rate they will never pay for anything in the house because the renters will pay for them as soon as they break!!!
Exactly!! It doesn’t make any sense to me! I feel like they just make things up and make us pay. It’s ridiculous!! Supposedly in our long contract it says any glass breaking isn’t covered. But thought that’s what the renters insurance was for. They were so rude too when I tried to talk to them about it 😒
@@ashleyforbes what if it breaks again the next time you guys cut the grass? It just doesn’t seem right!! The fact they didn’t even tell you how much it would cost is illegal. They owed you guys three estimates from different companies or a chance for you guys to find your own. What if you didn’t have the money? They were rude?! I would of have been twice as rude and rightfully so. You are too nice and they know it. Can’t wait to see you in your new bought house❤️

Hopefully your Memorial Day will be nice. I wish mine wasn't a severe weather threat.
For your shower and tub for your shower and tub. Take hydrogen peroxide, so you will take 2 parts. Hydrogen peroxide, one part dawn and then you will clean. Spray it on and clean your tub and shower that way and then rinse . But I would let it set for about. 20 to 30 minutes and then go back in and clean. That should remove the stains.
Pink mold comes from protein like conditioner and or skin and hair. Not rust.
The children's bedroom is very nice. Is that tiles on the walls or wood. That home has so many different kinds of finishes. They either own a business or possibly a contractor.

For my bathroom I only use Lysol bathroom cleaner with peroxide. I have been using it for 12 years. I have asthma and my doctor recommended it. I won't use anything else.
Tell me about being behind!! Latly I haven't had motivation, and on top of it all taking kids to their after school activities, yesterday we took our youngest to get testing done for 1st grade. Also when it comes to preparing lunch and dinner they don't like anything!!

Take you some hydrogen peroxadd and spray. Try a little section and then put a plastic wrap over it and let it set.

we've been blessed to not be in a situation where we need to rent but know renters. it is beyond frustrating for landlords not to be transparent but renter friends have also learned to advocate for themselves by asking all the questions...and getting it in writing via email or paper contract. its the only way to protect yourself. they learn not to assume just bc xyz = xyz anymore (in your case: renters insurance = everything is covered) bc most likely it will never be in their favor...landlords can be jerks and will get their way...yours is. sorry. lol nowadays you can't trust anyone...esp the ones trying to make money. sad but true.🙄🙄 so sorry it happened to you. $600 sucks. tfs! love from texas.

I’m so glad to hear you haven’t had any issues. I truly think if we were going through a person and not a property manager we wouldn’t have these issues. It’s just so unpersonable .. I’m sure they get annoyed with bad renters but take it out on all of us! 😒

So why are y’all responsible for the appliances as renters? That should be whoever you’re renting froms problem. They supplied all of this in the home and chose the world’s worst appliances! That dishwasher looks like a nightmare to choose as well as the stove top! Most people put basic appliances in the home for less maintenance and cheaper to replace if needed! They are crazy for holding y’all responsible for those things. The door I would have replaced too! they should have been honest with y’all but like with most insurances you have a high deductible and better off paying yourselves! Ridiculous!
