I lost my mother-in-law April 3rd. She had been in poor health for a long time but her death was sudden. I miss her every day as we were very close, she was like a 2nd mother to me. Grief is hard and it comes in unexpected ways. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Hey, Ashley, if you want a homemade remedy to keep the roaches away. You need to mix 2 parts of water with one part white vinegar and add 10 drops of peppermint. Essential oil and spray around where you saw the roaches, and that will keep them at Bay or any other bug. We're all getting those kind of thing. That's why I always mop out my garage and mop. My floors with vinegar and water. Because bugs cannot stand the smell of vinegar. Or peppermint.

I agree with you and that is ridiculous at that landlord treat you that bad. I have never heard of such a thing and I’ve rented a few times but I live in Arizona so things could be different but I’ve always had the owner. Take care of anything that broke within the house if it wasn’t a cause of something that I purposely did, I feel bad man. I would get out of there as soon as I ended that lease sorry that happened to you that sad.😮

Cardboard boxes attract roaches, I know you said something needs to be sealed in the bathroom but if you can more stuff into bins as opposed to the carboard moving boxes that might help as well. UGH! renting is awful these days, people are so rude in general. I guess you have to ask each and every time to make sure they don't charge you. They should have told you it would cost you to replace the door. I would be counting down the months before I could move. Nothing like your own home and space. Hoping the time goes by quickly for you and the family!

Ashley if you have a O cedar spin mop you can mop your laminated flooring just make sure you ring all the water out of the mop it would hurt anything

Ashley Your kids are growing because it's the Virginia Air 😂 my youngest brother was small in height and weight until when he was 12 his birthday was in the summer and over night when he was 13 he grew so tall that my mom couldn't let the hems out of his pants .he gained a little weight when he was diagnosed with diabetes unfortunately he passed away when he was 49. Atha will be taller than you when he becomes a teenager

I wonder if there was a roach colony that was inside the trucks. When people move over and over and use that company they might have had roaches and they might have laid eggs and then they got into your stuff. That might be it. Something that's something to think about. I guarantee you that company does not disinfect their trucks every single time someone else moves.
Roaches are attracted to card board anything card board like card board boxes. Even like food that comes in a box like noodles. I’d dispose of anything in a card board box. Also they like the smell of oil so make sure to wash any dish with oil on it and if it’s on counter tops or stove.

I have a old game from my papa that my nana gave me. I never really messed with it, it just sits in my closet and when we went to clean out my closet in Lubbock the briefcase the game is in has written HI really large on it. It was very crazy but I think he sent a sign.. I had just lost my mother in law and was taking it hard and asking for someone to give me a sign to let me know they’re still out there watching. And I found that shortly after 🩷
