Ashley, I would definitely use that closet for a pantry. Keep it neat and it should work. It would drive me crazy having food in different cabinets or drawers.

Hello Ashley, I would put the appliances in the cabinet you have the canned goods, water and drinks in. The closet would make a great pantry , it would be more convenient and less stressful on you. The rest of the kitchen looks great. Hope you all have a wonderful week. Love and blessings 🥰♥️💐🤗
Ashley I would use that closet for a pantry. and the cabinets by your island I would keep your insta pot and mixer in there. and the toaster. and the drawer you use for snacks I would put your bakeware in that. just my thoughts. do what works for you and your family.
I call the landlord and tell him he needs to call pest control! Lol I saw a mouse in our house once and wanted to move😂
Hey Ashley. I had the same problem as you do with your dishwasher. My hose was also hanging too low. All they had to do was hook the hose up higher. Haven’t had a problem since. I hope this is helpful. 🌼

One of the ways we do homemade dog food storage is to get cheap Tupperware for their portion sizes and fill them and put them in the freezer inside large zip locks to avoid freezer burn. Put a weeks worth at a time in the fridge then pull a week out from the freezer to thaw on the last day. That way you can make a month at a time and shop for it once a month. (:

Hi Ashley. I just wanna say I am terrified of roaches, too. I live in Chesapeake. Pest control comes out regular to spray for water bugs. I was told they live in trees. Enjoyed your video.
It looks like the cabinet has the holes for the support clasp. I would measure and go to Lowe's to get a piece of wood that's already painted white for an extra shelf. They cut it for you. I would probably also use the closet as a pantry for the most part.

You say the dividers are drilled into your drawer. Can you take the drawer entirely out, flip it over and see if there are nuts and screws that can be undone?

You can the roach food, just open the package put it in the corners out off reach.
Also try wiping down using vinegar clothes softner, it works

a good organizer for the tumblers might be something like a wine rack? i think they sell those for water bottles on amazon, they might fit the cups!

I love that you have the drawers for bottom cabinets. I've never had them, but they look so convenient. Girl, I need more closets. Lol. I've definitely been super duper creative with storage. 😂
My son had the same issue with his bed in one of our rentals. We used the drawer against the wall for off season clothes. Then switch in new season. Its a good cleaning time too and you don’t have to week the bed weekly.
I agree with those who say have the landlord send out pest control. Also get rid of all your cardboard boxes. I heard eggs get in the cardboard and can cause roaches. The kitchen looks good.
Hi girl I feel you, moving to a new place is a big change especially to another state but everything takes time to adjust, I know sometimes it can get very overwhelming and stressful, but when I moved I had the same problem with roaches here and there I will see them it was getting me annoyed especially in the summer but me and my husband bought a spray that is safe for inside the house but it works outside for any kind of bugs, after that we haven't had problem we just make sure we spray outside and inside the house every 6 months 😊 and we are good haven't seen none! but just make sure you get rid of the cartons boxes and if you can have the dishwasher fixed because roaches are atrack with water too especially if there's a leak but your house is looking good

Ikea has so many pretty pantry closets that you can put in the formal dinning room it will look like a built in cabinet and it will be off the kitchen, plus you can empty that closet for more storage. Just an idea.

Amazon has several options for a cabinet shelf organizer for the cabinet with missing shelf. Also, a buffet or credenza in dining room could help with liquor or extra big appliances so you could use the off the kitchen closet for food.
Girl Friend you are amazing. You can switch over the pantry with the drawers put some shelves in the garage and put your big pans and things out there. 💛💚🩷🧡🩵💜
Ashley take the third shelf in your pantry area and put it in the cupboard with cups. You wanted a third shelf there and then all your tall containers will fit in the pantry
Hi Ashley that’s a food pantry honey I would put all your food in there like you had at your old house.Everything is looking good you can get some cupboard risers for your one cabinet and they have organizers to store your travel cups,I have seen some great under the sink organizers on Amazon once you have it you can always use it in your own house some day hope you have a great Sunday and you have a great week ❤

Hi Ashley! I’m sure it’s going to take some time getting used to the spaces you now have. I would def reconsider using that closet for your pantry. It may be inconvenient to walk around your island but in the long run…so much more space. 😊
You did a great job in the kitchen . You should use the pantry to store more of your food and get some bins . It's hard when you move into a new house just want to store the stuff . Enjoy your trip out of town . 💖

I live in an apartment building where we do tend to get roaches from time to time which is so gross. Amazon has very good glue traps that are non toxic that catches them, also using lavender oil - any kitchen spray that has that wiping your counters down I use the attitude lavender and thyme spray or even Mrs. Meyers lavender would work well I have used that in the past. We also have a bug spray from Home Depot as well that works fantastic haven’t seen any since lol

You definitely have room in some of those cupboards for an additional shelf. You can find them at the local home depot or Lowe’s. You can get the extra pegs there too

Hi Ashley, that color of your pj set looks really good on you. It's adorable. Can you put other kitchen stuff in where you put food and then maybe use some drawers for the food you use frequently. I would definitely use that closet. My while house needs to be decluttered and organized but raising my grandsons, being a widow, and with a major back disability which really allows me down, I just can't find the energy or motivation to do anything. Any.suggesting would be welcomed. I have a question for you...when it's time have you and Dwayne thought about building a house? Thanks for the video and I will see you next time ❤❤❤
My husband and I are the exact opposite. I'm terrified of spiders and he can't stand any bug the crunches. Roaches, beetles, etc
Oh Ashley… I hope your roach problem is fixed… I’m with you..I hate them.. we lived in Toronto for 10 years and they were awful 😖.. My mom always said “ where there’s 1… there’s 100… they multiple like rabbits 😬
Also .. you are paying rent.. all appliances should be working properly… the property management should have the dishwasher in working order… that is sooo unsanitary for water to be sitting in there and in the plumbing pipes… disgusting 😝

Don't like roaches or spiders. Don't move to Florida. There are several species of roaches here. The ones that fly gross me out, and they always fly at you. Wood spiders can be huge.
Like your kitchen organization. I bought a holder for my baking trays. Keeps them neat and very easy to remove and place back.

at that point with the tumblers i'd be like forget it and get rid of them all buy new and only enough that will fit comfortably lol why not keep the big thing of pretzels on the counter above the drawers in the corner i'd get rid of the alcohol too if you dont drink it you dont HAVE to keep it since he doesnt work there anymore maybe one or two tumblers but not all the tumblers either i LOOOVE to organize so thats just what i would do :) i'd let your landlord know about the bugs roaches are the same for me we have them in florida but we have pest control that comes and takes care of them check your lease and see if they do pest control its the same here with my hubby and spiders i dont mind killing those but roaches nope uh uh he's fine killing those but thankfully no problems for awhile since pest control been coming

We get the large wood roaches in cooler months, and I absolutely hate them. They don't infest, thankfully! Now, if they are small, then I would be concerned.
Nope you gotta use the closet for a pantry, trying to stuff all of your can goods and containers in drawers, is no bueno, hubby would have to lose on this one lol
Ashley, Was is hard for you and your husband to moved in the midway of the school year while your kiddos are still in schools?
Also the roaches could be from the moving boxes possibly 🤔
That's a bummer in those drawers. I did built ins in som drawers but mine are removable. You should generally do updates with the thought of will this work for the next person if I move. Easy to make decorative changes and people can just change paint color etc but structural different story

I live in South Carolina and we have a ton of roaches here. I hate them. They gross me out just like you are talking about and there is nothing really you can do to keep them from getting in.

I personally would call in another plumber that doesn’t work for the management company. Master plumber said that the plumber that told you the kitchen would have to be torn up was not honey with you and he was lazy. Just saying. Some men don’t always know what is wrong. lol

Is it roaches or water bug a water bug is black or red, water bugs are big. They make my blood curl. Mice is another thing that grosses me out.
