Marshall’s singing was revealed to be an annoying habit by the gang. I remember this notable dialogue from the episode, *”Spoiler Alert”:*
*Robin:* “No, no, sometimes you just sing nonsense words, like a stroke victim! And what's worse: they're catchy! Apple, Orchard, Banana, Cat, Dance, Eight, Six, Six, Three! See?! We know that one because you once sang it for like three hours! What the hell is that?!”
*Marshall:* “That's my password: AOBCD8663.” 😂
I've been rewatching HIMYM and I just finished this episode.

I think the way how Marshall’s mnemonic device regarding his password consist of fruit, a cat, and dance is a reference to how sugar helps him focus, a future reference to how Marshall accidentally caused Lily’s mom’s cat death, and how Marshall dances so much that he develops, “dancer’s hip.”

I remember that gag with Marshall singing. In that quote, the entire gang starts singing the “ Apple orchard banana cat dance 8663” part along with Robin.
At 3:40 - It’s ironic how even though Barney constantly sings about hooking up with Ted’s younger sister, it is Ted who ultimately ends up hooking up with Barney’s younger half-sister.
Hahah true, never thought of it . Weirdly the half sister wasn’t present at Robin and Barney’s wedding. (Neither was Robin’s sister who was shown in one of the flashback scenes)
@@Rooshni You’re correct that Barney’s half-sister, Carly wasn’t at his & Robin’s wedding.
But Robin’s little sister, Katie was definitely at the wedding in the Season 9 episode, “Vesuvius.”
She was playing hockey with Robin and watched “The Wedding Bride Too” (the sequel to Stella’s husband’s movie).
Interestingly enough, Carly’s actress (Ashley Benson) and Katie’s actress (Lucy Hale) both starred together on the ABC Family teen mystery series, “Pretty Little Liars.”
@@appouhal oh. Damn, I never realised Katie was Robin’s sibling in the last season. Thought she was a cousin. Stupid of me 😬. Now it makes sense, Katie was even present when all the virginity stories are revealed on the Empire State Building.
@@Rooshni It’s cool. Katie only appeared in two episodes and isn’t mentioned that much in the show. I’ve watched the series from beginning to end at least 5 times plus I frequently watch clips on CZcams and am actively engaged in the online fandom. So I have an almost “encyclo-PAE-dic” knowledge of the show. 😂
It’s interesting to note that J.J. (Jerome Jr.) wasn’t at the wedding either.

What makes Let's go to the mall extra iconic, is the fact that it was the first song. It showed a new kind of creativeness, where all the other songs were based on. Seeing it for the first time was hilárious.
I actually found Let's go to the Mall on Just Dance but didn't know it was a HIMYM song years later I watch the show and was shocked to my core

This is a great list! The only other one I would have included somewhere is the "He's so Awesome" song that Barney uses for his video resume, and then plays later when we get the truth about Barney's job.

I have the dvds and choose to watch the “alternate” version with the MUCH better ending (also there’s a deleted scene from the finale on CZcams I think called “himym finale lunch” which makes the ending more “tolerable-ish”... ish)
